ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan, expressing commitment to wipe out militancy from the country, has said that there was no place for terrorists in New Pakistan.

“We’re already cracking down on them, we’re already dismantling the whole set up,” He said in an interview with Financial Times. Prime Minister Imran Khan said his government had taken unprecedented measures to eliminate terrorists.

“What is happening right now has never happened before in Pakistan,” Imran Khan said as he talked about hitting hard at terrorists in the country. He said Pakistan could not allow terror groups to organize with impunity on its soil.

He categorically denied that Pakistan had any links to Jaish-e-Mohammad, terror group that launched an attack last month on Indian paramilitary police convoy in the Pulwama area of Indian occupied Kashmir.

He termed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the “aggressor” for launching a subsequent missile strike that brought the two countries close to war. On addressing challenges at financial front, Imran Khan said Pakistan was “pretty close to an agreement” with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). “I’m determined that this will be the last time Pakistan will ever have to go to the IMF,” he said.

Acknowledging financial assistance from China, he rejected the impression that Pakistan had become a client state of China under the $60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor. “We are really grateful to the Chinese because this has been extremely helpful to us,” he said, dismissing criticism that China’s loans to Pakistan represented “debt-trap diplomacy”.

Is he saying that jaishe mohammed is not behind the attack or does he mean to say that there is no jaishe mohammed in pakistan.

Words mean nada. Stop supporting JeM, LeT, HM, disband MJC. Which I think is not gonna happen, IK has no power for it.

Pakistan has already responded that the Indian dossier contains non actionable evidence and has shared that with diplomats from other countries.

With respect to JEM, it’s a proscribed organization and even its charity wing has been taken over by the government. There are broader and more local level actions that need to be taken (Federal policy prescriptions need to be implemented at the provincial and local level) and that’s something Pakistan needs to improve on, and its something the FATF & APG are tracking, and, per the latest reports, not satisfied with the actions so far. But that is to be expected since moving from Federal to local (implementation) is a problem with almost every policy in Pakistan.

It goes both ways where, Indian claims or words as such also does not matter but that too when all is in power of RSS Hindutva & R&AW's love for proxies.
There is a world of difference between creating a narrative and to an actual one. RSS sure is a right wing organization but we have a sizable and powerful centrist and left wing. Pakistan is a right wing nation, your politics revolve around it and politics range from extreme right to the right. So, Pakistan calling out India for having a right wing party is, I don't know, strange!?

Speaking on the topic, it mostly goes just one way. Afghan, Iran, India all three neighbors have accused you of groups that operate from Pakistan attacking their army. If Imran is making such a comment, then it's because of external pressure on Pakistan to act on these groups. Today, do any of our neighbors accuse us of terrorism? BD have a sizable Hindu minority, do you see RSS-Hindutva blowing up in busy streets or ramming IED's at BD military? Or sindhi Hindus in Pakistan.

Speaking of RSS - Hindutva, sure their members may have been involved in riots, vigilantism, but they don't send proxies to Pakistan, imagining such a scenario will be hilarious. They are present in remote pockets in India, their top leader drive around in scooter:rolleyes: (until recently he got SPG protection). Not sure about R&AW, not much information of them are available to us, nobody even hears much about them in here and their funding is too limited for what you accuse them of.
