That is unlikely since that will give China significant control over monetary policy considering China economy is so much bigger.

I think U.K. also had similar concern so that it refused to join the EU currency. It is afraid it will be sidelined by Germany and France.

Pakistan's and Afghanistan's economy being very weak, China would not like itself to be included in a common market with Pakistan or Afghanistan, least it affects the stability of Chinese economy.

such economic system can only work among the rich nations who are very much comparable to each other. SCO nations are poor and will not be able to take care of each other
