wow, they have their satellite transponders on... Not such a good idea. Does PAF do that too ?

India’s Air Force to start large-scale two-week long, offensive combat air (OCA) aerial warfare exercises over Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and #Kashmir (IIOJK), parts of the internally-disputed Northern Punjab state and non-occupied territories of Himachal Pradesh, starting on 6 May 2023.

The goal of the exercise (looking at the size of the closed airspace, location and NOTAM timeline) is assessed is to practice newly-formed and existing IAF tactics to provide effective and contemporary (networked/integrated) OCA (Offensive Counter Air) airpower against assets primarily of the PAF and secondarily of PA-AD, PA-AC in the Kashmir theatre, especially geared against new PAF and PA-AD acquisitions.

Additionally newly-acquired IAF long range standoff strike capabilities like Hammer missiles, SCALP cruise missiles etcetera will be used to ensure proper usage and pilot training in mountainous/high-altitude environments after the major national-level embarrassment of the IAF’s Operation Bandar where 5 of the 6 released smart munitions (Israeli SPICE kits) overshot and missed intended strike location due to wrongly-entered target elevation coordinates, and and one weapon failed to release from aircraft.

The other major IAF objective is use of Rafale’s BVR capabilities alongside integrated offensive air operations with IAF Su-30s and Mirage-2000s.
