Asalama Alikum,

I was hoping if someone can help me with this small detail. I want to join the Pakistan Air Force as a General Duty Pilot but at the same time I also want to further studies in Aeronautical Physics, so my question is that is it an option to be able to complete the course for GD(P) and then also further your studies whilst serving? I tried to look for such information on the internet but was only able to find regarding United States Air Force where apparently they have some sort of 'specialised' programmes where you can simultaneously serve and further your study under certain conditions if given permission.

So, what's the deal in Pakistan Air Force, is it similar? Suppose if I cannot find that information on this forum, is there any phoneline or centre where I can attain such information?

Thanks in advance : )

PAF have a very limited background when it comes to taking in bright people. I suggest talk to a PAF recruiter who is former GD(P)....I know the one at Peshawar is one. Ideally they should be taking in people with the type of program you're seeking......decades ago they would have engineering graduates to become pilots...they even had a medical doctor who would fly F-86s....but those times have gone as it has become very centralized.

I think GD Pilots recieve a Bachelors degree in aviation on completion of training / education. If I'm correct you should be able to emphasize on the subject you like.
