Pakistan and Turkey to commence common Special Forces and Cavalry Exercises

1- Turkey - Pakistan Common Special Forces and Cavalry Exercise will be held between 15-30 September 2014 dates within participation of Turkey and Pakistan in;

- Mountain and Cavalry School Training Centre Command / Eğirdir

- General Staff Special Forces Command (ÖKK) HQ / Ankara


2- The aim of the exercise is to strengthen the interoperability and information share between the Special Forces and Cavalry units of the two countries.


3- One Cavalry company (for the Eğirdir arm) and one reinforced Special Forces team (for the Ankara arm of the exercise) by each of the two sides will attend to the exercise.

What does this mean ? Would we be shipping some of our Tanks to Turkiye to take part in the Exercise or would the Turks & Pakistanis exchange their know-how over Ayran & Kebab ? :unsure:

dude, it is not an armored exercise, so why would we need tanks?

@Horus my father did his national service as a reserve officer. Before his deployment to Şırnak (Southeastern, PKK) that's where he got his Cavalry badge :D
