What's new

Pakistan Auto Show 2011

F*Ck....

God knows I wish to hell that I could be there in attendance..... I'm happy that despite a slowed economy, cars scene in Pakistan is still very much alive and booming

Why the F does not Suzuki not make some little modifications to the design of it's cars, the Suzuki Dabba has been the same since i was born, and it has not changed a screw, why do we not do something like the Indians, we have the ToT, so why not make some modifications, like the Indians.?

until mid 2000s, Mexico was still producing the Volkswagen Beetle (the old one!)

Egypt is still manufacturing the old school Fiat 128s

Russians still make the Lada (that junk hasnt changed shape in decades)

20 years from now, Mehran, Bolan and those cars wont change at all either

not exactly when you compare with other asian countries.

well which countries? Japan? Well hello, that's a NO-BRAINER

but like i said, cars scene is huge in Pakistan.....not just in big cities (Peshawar/Quetta/Lahore/Karachi/twin cities) but even some semi-rural areas as well.

it's more limited to car meets/gatherings and private race events....now it is good that we will have this Auto Show here.

i suggest you get glasses or a magnifying glass and read my post properly......I clearly said ''car scene'' --i said nothing about industry. So i dont need you to give me sales or manufacturing figures.

luxury brands? Look at Divan Motors....even Brabus (the flagship coach-builder for Mercedes) has dealership in Islamabad. Don't just pull facts out of your arse when you have no idea what you're talking about.

when you say car industry is booming it means car sale is increasing year after year, more new car brands launching their car, luxury brands launching their cars and recording profits, more car manufacturing, boom in local car industry...

unfortunately in pakistan car sale is dipping year after year, most of car in pakistan are suzuki, hardly any luxury brands can be spotted on pakistani street (refer to your own site pakwheels), luxury brands afraid of launching their car in pakistan due to lack of buyers, except suzukis no car makers are manufacturing cars in pakistan, pakistan has no local car maker

you know nothing abut pakistan bachy

what year by year you bash is bloody hate inside you just look here now

Auto sales in Pakistan hit a two year high, jumping 61% in July, 2011 to 17,563 units from 10,942 units in the same month of last year. Pak Suzuki Motor Company led the auto sales up with 116 percent rise to 11,997 units from 4,503 seen in the same period last year. This is in sharp contrast to a Reuters report of 16% decline in auto sales in July across the border in India.

better you use google then bollywood to know abut pakistan .for you guys we are all worse poor on earth eat from usa drivr rikshow and sleep on dust thats what bollywood teach you

lol....Pakistan is probably the only country in the world where a Mercedes C-class (2011) costs LESS than a Toyota Camry.

That speaks only of the insanely illogical tax structure applied to motor vehicles in Pakistan.
