PNS Taimur of the Pakistan Navy called on Colombo port today for a 3 day visit. According to the SLN, the frigate is expected to conduct a bilateral exercise before her departure on Monday ( Aug,15).

Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day was celebrated on board the Tughril-class guided missile frigate, PNS Taimur (F-262), currently on a deployment to #SriLanka. The Chief of Naval Staff of the Sri Lankan Navy himself came to join in the celebrations.

Pakistan Navy Ship ZULFIQUAR visited Dubai, UAE during deployment on Regional Maritime Security Patrol. Upon arrival, Pakistan Navy Ship was received by Defence Attaché of Pakistan at Abu Dhabi and Senior Officials of UAE Navy.

During the port visit, Commanding Officer of PNS ZULFIQUAR Captain Tayyab Wadood Anwar called-on Deputy Commander UAE Naval Forces and other senior Officials of UAE Navy.

PNS SHAMSHEER (FFG 252) and INS SHIVALIK (F47) meet off at the Yokosuka Naval Port for the JMSDF's 70th Anniversary International Fleet Review.

Pakistan Navy Ships comprising PNS NASR and PNS SHAMSHEER Port-called Yokosuka, Japan and participated in International Fleet Review (IFR) organized to commemorate 70th anniversary of founding of Japan Maritime Self Defence Forces (JMSDF). The IFR formation comprised of 38 units including 18 ships and submarines from different navies. The visit of PN Ships to Japan and participation in IFR is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties, enhancing interoperability between navies and to explore new vistas of defence cooperation.

Concurrent to visit of PN Ships; Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi is also on official visit to Japan. Admiral attended the 18th Western Pacific Naval Symposium (WPNS) organized with aim to strengthen mutual naval cooperation and discuss global & regional maritime issues among navies of the world.

PN Ships participated in IFR with other naval ships at Sagami Bay. Chief of the Naval Staff witnessed IFR from Japanese Ship IZUMO along-with Japanese Prime Minister and Naval Heads of various navies. On the sidelines of IFR and Symposium activities, Naval Chief had meetings with Chief of JMSDF, Chief of Japan Air Self Defence and Naval Chiefs of Australia, Bangladesh, Canada, Colombia, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore and Royal Navy of UK. During the meetings matters of mutual interest, emerging shared security challenges in maritime domain and bilateral naval collaboration were discussed.

Earlier, during port call at Yokosuka, the Mission Commander of PN Flotilla along with Commanding Officers of PN ships called on Senior Naval leadership of Japan

EXERCISE SEA THUNDER V 2022
The Indonesian Navy's Frog Troop Command (Kopaska TNI AL) and Pakistan Navy's Special Service Group (SSG-N) are holding the SEA THUNDER V Joint Exercise (Latma) from 7 to 16 November held in Jakarta and the Thousand Islands....

Towards the culmination of the SEA THUNDER V Joint Exercise, both forces held a partial Free Fall Acuration and Underwater Navigation Exercise at Lanudal Pondok Cabe and Carnaval Ancol Beach on Wednesday (11/09/2022)..

The concept of Free Fall and Diver activities is means of infiltration towards enemy targets that aims to see teamwork, create common perceptions, and increase endurance between the two special forces

On Thursday, 14 Indonesian personnel and 12 Pakistani personnel carried out the strengthening of Combat Free Fall at Lanudal Pondok Cabe and Combat Diver at Carnaval Ancol Beach before carrying out its peak exercise on November 14 to 16, 2022 on Damar Island, Thousand Islands.
