Pakistan only country to spread polio virus abroad: WHO​

GENEVA: The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared in its new report that Pakistan is the only country to let polio virus move outside its borders.

The health committee of WHO mentioned in its report that polio virus had moved from Pakistan to Afghanistan thrice since July 2014.

The committee asked Pakistan government in the report how many Pakistanis went abroad by taking polio certificate and how many people were stopped from going abroad without the certificate.

The committee directed Pakistan to control polio virus within six months. In addition, the government should not give permission to any Pakistani to go abroad without the certificate.

In 2014, more than 243 cases have been registered in Pakistan, mostly in Khyber Pakhtunkwa (KP) and Fata.

Sarcasm aside, it could be an overlook but it should be stopped. As world is very near in eradicating this deadly virus and Pakistan being the last few place, extra precaution must be taken by International Agencies specially pakistan government to contain this spread as much as possible and try to eradicate with in its border as well.

we are known to be worst at handling anything unless army does it, corrupt system i can see polio in pakistan for the next 4 to 5 years , shit aside it should be stopped for real tnk god ebola is not present in pakistan

It is the main problem that you guys don't trust your own people but only the Army. You need to give time for any system to mature and adapted to the environment. Don't want to derail the topic but Army is not meant to do daily routine works. This is work of the government and its the people who should pressurize government to act else you will never gain real independence in which you can rule your own country.

our govt unfortunately is too corrupted sometimes security is not provided thus no one would take the job and many reasons, dude system should always be given a chance if there is one in our case no visible system or planning by the govt so yah another 4 to 5 years
