We need to learn to stand on our own two feet. Searching for "Goldmines" has led us down this path that we are following now.

In such arrangements, all participants bring something to the table. Turks are bringing technology, ability to R&D, trained and well-armed forces. Saudis off course their global clout, appetite for large defense orders and ability to pay for them, and Petro dollars. What do we bring to the table?

we never learn! We just keep on hoping for a magic bullet, a shortcut! There are no shortcuts in life. you have to do it the Chinese way. Work harder!

@Bilal Khan (Quwa) this is a goldmine if something goes through. Pak and Turkey spearheading development financed with arab money is literally the breakthrough we need. The arabs are tight now too so theyll keep their fist around Pak to ensure funds arent being thrown around and development isnt a mess.

What do you think
Sounds good for us but from the Arab perspective why can they not just fund an indigenous R&D ecosystem and hire engineers, etc, to build the industry at home?

Where's the advantage for them to funnel it into Pakistan and Turkey?

wat pakistan brings to table is R&D in professional begging.

They did this and are doing this, Edge group of UAE is all South Africans.

But, Pakistan allows access to Turkey kinda, also has some experience that the arabs view highly i guess

got anything useful to add?

Pakistan has experience.

BVR combat with Swift Retort against a modern military. Pakistan has experience dealing with Iran. ISAF in Afghanistan over the past 20 years, and all the ways those kinds of operations were carried out, in and through Pakistani territory. The Bin Laden raid and stealth black hawks is one high end example.

It’s akin to why many buy the Rafale; it’s spectra EW system with its large signature library. The French participate in exercises and sook up the “tron” (electrons; signatures)

Imagine a MBDA type company for Turkey, Pakistan, Saudi, Qatar, Azerbaijan and maybe Malaysia. Muslim countries would be able to produce European level equipment.

Turkish KAAN is the perfect product for this. If it turns into a big multilateral project like F35 for Muslim countries then we can see more cooperation.

How does that help when it comes to R&D?

Depends on the product being developed. If it’s in the EW/C4ISR domain, then know how a product is employed in actual combat could help outline what to aim for. You knows what possible and what’s not possible. The limitations to work around. Possibly even, what is needed to overcome those limitations.

Hi,

I will tell you the answer---. Pakistanis fckd up real bad when the yemen crisis started and they refused to assist GCC.

Today---paskiatn would have become a local super power rather than a beggar---these starving pakistanis who are going to be committing suicide enmasse in near and long future---these pakistanis who cannot pay these electrics / gas bills---these pakistanis who cannot feed their children---feed their families---can't pay their bills---.

These pakistanis will die---their children will die---their mothers fathers will die in starvation and hopelessness---a worthless death---dying like flea bitten dogs----.

Allah gave them the chance to be someone---a power amongst the muslim nations---but this gutless and coward nation---rather than taking charge for a greater destiny chose doom and gloom as it destiny---.

Denegrating the arabs---calling them incompetent and weak---. Allah gave pakistanis the will to fight---but the arrogance and cockiness got the better of them---.

Today Allah has slammed them to the ground so hard---Allah has pummelled them so hard---Allah has taken away their freedom---Allah has thrown them in a place that yet they do not know what terrible things are coming their way----.

Pak has got nukes! Nothing else to add....

No nukes, no freedom (to do "mischiefs" vis-a-vis the Imperialists)....

Pak has got nothing else to lose for her selfish, ruthless and corrupt Deep State runs a $200b/yr "business" empire....
