Fashion Parade to hit Isloos’ ramps on December 10

Islamabad - Fashion Parade - a day long event featuring glamour, style, elegance and dazzle of upcoming fashions is all set to hit the ramps of Federal Capital here on December 10.
Islamabad fashion elite are ready to converge western world for the premier fashion event that promises a grand celebration of Islamabad’s finest fashion creations.
The spectacular fashion extravaganza `Fashion Parade Islamabad (IFP)’ has an esteemed line-up from Pakistan to capture the attention of fashion lovers of twin cities and introduce the concept of haute couture by providing opportunity for upcoming designers, models, choreographers, fashion writers and photographers.
The event will showcase leading Islamabad based fashion brands as well as pret designers to an audience comprising both the international and local buyers. The participants will showcase their latest collection at the show, seeking to forge local partnerships and franchise outlets in Pakistan.
“Fashion events are a perfect way to showcase and promote textiles, casual and formal wear, leather, footwear, and other fashion-related products in local and international markets,” said the organizers while talking to APP. These fashion events not only promote the countries’ finished products export, but strengthen the countries’ fashion related cottage industries.
“This show will serve as a fashion and trade event that facilitates trade and garners exposure for our guests as well as highlighting our local talent,” the organisers said.
Female and male models from Islamabad will participate with some models scouted from Lahore. The event is being organised by Trendy Event Management Company.
Trendy is coming up with the new idea of playing with the new trends from street fashion to casual or party wears. Ali Raza, Momal Aftab, Waqar Khan, Sikander e Azam and Iqra Butt are the spark of this event.
TRENDY is giving an opportunity to models, clothing brands, photographers, bloggers and event managers all under one roof. ARORA, western street fashion brand by Roma Azmat, ROPAJE eastern and western mixture by Ifhat Ghori, ZENITH eastern bridal wear by Misbah and most famous brand of jeans DENIM are also part of IFP 2015.
“IFP is a combine noble thought of our new blood to make Islamabad as centre of fashion vogue in Pakistan. In previous years Islamabad was way far behind then other cities when it comes to such couture gatherings.
As capital of every country depicts its fashion drift, Trendy has tried to portray the softer image of Pakistan to world, by giving an open platform to different fields to work under one roof,” an official of Trendy said.

In the context of Pakistan’s social circuit 'winter' means balls, parties and of course weddings galore. Fashion Pakistan Week 2015 Winter/Festivecovered all angles with a mixed bag of bridal and luxury pret collections.
Trend spotting promised to be something of a challenge but it turns out that the hottest trends transcend genres: the coolest wedding wear keeps pace with the zeitgeist.
This winter keep your look super-chic with these top ten trends from FPW 2015
1) Velvet
Well of course, it’s winter. It may be a quintessential winter fabric but velvet has never been more fashionable. It was all over the ramp in a myriad of forms including dhoti shalwars, capes, skirts and even as the lining to dupattas. Keep the colours rich and deep and pair with gold accents for maximum impact.

2) Shalwars
In the ascendant all year, the shalwar is firmly on the fashion radar for the time being. From westernized harem pants to northern-style shalwars with a wide paincha, fashion week saw multiple incarnations of the humble shalloo.

3) Dhoti shalwars
