will the 320s be new or they are leased?

They will be dry leased with a contract of either 2 years or 6 years.

PIA is looking for fleet of A320s Year of Manufacture of 2004 or later.

First 3 Aircraft will arrive in June 2014 while 7 in 2015.

They are to be used for Domestic and Middle East routes.

PIA & Steel Mill should be privatized ASAP. Specifically these two are sucking our blood every day.

As soon as CJP Ch. Iftikhar retires, these should be sold. The expected new CJP is likely more business friendly and would probably not interfere in the process, especially if there is transparency in the deals.

You forgot the 3 777-300ER already in the fleet (AP-BHV, BHW, BID).

Once the new 77Ws arrive, PIA will have a 14 strong 777 fleet.

Also, I believe PIA reserved some 777 options with their latest order should they want to operate more than 14

they should be ordering A380 to reduce per seat costs and obtain a great aircraft in the fleet good for image and reputation which is everything in the airline business. The 787 would be great too.

Their nears and dears even travel in cabin.
Do you know the story, of Gilani kids flying from UK to Switzerland on PIA boeing all alone? it was the DAVOS summit, where Gilani participated after crossing Zardari and his son.

Really??? But not surprising at all

pia suffering from more employees less air crafts induct 20 aircraft's today loss will go down to 5bn per year . thousands of workers doing nothing and getting salaries induct some 30 to 35 aircraft's or even dry lease them and PIA will be as before . it was big failure they failed to got aircraft's while shaheen got 14 and blue even got some .

now PIA should buy some used B-744s as they did before and got 743 so heavy load will go away easy . no matter how many 777s you have you still need 500+ passengers carrier
