ISLAMABAD, (SANA): Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), while condemning the cases of war crimes against leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami and other parties in Bangladesh, has demanded withdrawal of these cases from Bangladeshi government.

While addressing the farewell session of the National Assembly on Thursday, PML-N MNA justice (retd) Iftikhar Ahmed Cheema asked the government to take up issue of cases against JI leaders at UNO and OIC session should also be convened for this purpose.

Justice (retd) Iftikhar Ahmed Cheema said that only the bold leadership of the Turkey raised a powerful voice in the favour of the Bangladeshi leaders who are behind the bar and warned the Bangladeshi government to give up these cruel activities.

PML-N leader further said that the Bangladeshi leaders to whom death sentences have been announced, their crimes are their love for Pakistan.

He said that Amnesty International has declared the Bangladeshi tribunal as illegal and made it clear that Bangladeshi tribunal is working under the Bangladeshi government and the political leaders are being awarded sentences on the will of the government and the arrested leaders should immediately be released.
