Russia Wagner Mutiny | Updates & Discussions

BREAKING BBC News

Prigozhin has just confirmed the news now according to the BBC - Wagner is going back to "bases" following "guarantees" ..

BREAKING: Yevgeny #Prigozhin denies #Lukashenko’s claim that an agreement was reached to halt PMC #Wagner forces. He states that although negotiations were held, they were unsuccessful and Wagner will march to #Moscow this evening.

Re : Prigozhin agreeing to descalate ..

Lets see if this is true - or optimistic wishful reporting from Belarus ... It means that a large force of Wagner would get caught out in the open, on the motorway if they stop. Ripe targets for Putin - once he gets his defence organised.

Damn risky for Prigozhin to accept anything right now ...

It shows latest development make him surrender. Basically it is a surrender. He knows he cannot win after seeing Chechen troops coming, Russian troops in the border entering Russian, and Putin is in save location.

Not sure about that - I think Putin blinked and gave into Wagner .. If Prigozhin has agreed - it is a strategic mistake for Prigozhin - Prigozhin's only chance to live and see this out, is to depose Putin and get power for himself.

Moscow is naked and ready for the taking ...

Putin will take his time but he will kill Prigozhin for sure if there is a ceasefire ..

Belarusian president held talks with Prigozhin today. Lukashenko says that Prigozhin has agreed to "stop the movement of armed persons on the territory of Russia and to take further steps to deescalate"

It is useful to take it with a pinch of salt. Lukashenko's plane landed in Turkiye today. Some sources say he only sent his family.

I think what is really frightening in the current Russian governments is the silence of the Russian establishment towards this uprising, even showing some kind of support in some critical issues. So there may be a plan to sacrifice a few victims and get out of the deadlock caused by this Ukrainian adventure. Shoigu is at the top of the list.

Entering Moscow is nothing if Russian troops in the border (95 % of total troops) is still loyal to Putin and Putin is not in Moscow.

Prigozhin deal IMO is to allow him exit Russian and save his followers

Russians wouldn't have enough resources to produce THEIR OWN stuff.
Russians wouldn't have enough food to feed their worker (children who did 9hrs shifts).
Russians would have to engage much more Germans with air surpremacy the whole time if Western allies wouldn't bomb Germany to dust and free the AA about Germany.
Soviet AND US (+ Brits/Commonwealth) needed each other.
To beat conventional a healthy Wehrmacht would have demand YEARS of war and too much attrition of US manpower, nuclear-bombs then on Germany, yes but conventional would not have been possible, even with DUMB german war industries.
Soviet blood + Murrican oversupplying and bombing German industry to dust was a way too strong combination.
Western allies, respective Murricans mostly, enabled the Soviet to survive and to produce their stuff.

Allies never started to hit the German industrial complex until later in 1943 and 1944 after the Luftwaffe was neutralised

Operation Uranus the Soviet counter offensive was launched in end of 1942 to retake Stalingrad so your timelines dont add up

and both countries fought at full strength at Battle of Kursk, Soviet Union won

the Soviet Union had redeployed its factories behind the Ural Mountains and the Wehrmacht never marched that East

Russians had huge ammo shortage and even at Stalingrad after Operation Uranus it was 6 soldiers per rifle in some units

Manpower and sacrifice is how Russia fought against Wehrmacht and if you really want to see the resolve of the Russian people just look at The siege of Leningrad

no one in the West had it so bad, not even during the Blitz of London

Putin created Prigojin and Putin will kill Prigojin

from sandwich seller to organizator that host foreign guests and to WAGNER Chief
