Swiss Diplomat: Sanctions Pushing Iran towards China, India
TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Swiss diplomat said western sanctions against Iran are creating more and more opportunity for China and India to increase their business with Iranian partners.




The deputy chief of mission of Switzerland's embassy in Washington, Guillaume Scheurer, told a University of Virginia audience that the sanctions being levied against Iran are creating an opening in Tehran for businesses from China and India.

Speaking in the Dome Room of the Rotunda, Scheurer said "the market in Iran is huge."

"India and China, in particular, are in many ways replacing traditional trading partners," including Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy, he said.

India and China seem to be neutralizing the effect of sanctions on Iran.

I think India-China if stayed together for supporting Iran,then this could change the game for Iran..
Also there will pressure for India from US and Israel who are our good friends, but still are in favour of war..
So in short,upcoming time is going to be very tough for India,as it had to decide whether to choose Iran who r our good friend and a huge market OR to go with US-Israel...

india is not interested in joining a particular group. we want good relations with both U.S/isreal group & iran. we will not go hard at iran only because west want it.

No one wants war, but when dealing with religious fanatics (the Mullahs, not all Iranian people) it might be unavoidable.

That's only a partial list of your crimes, yet you have the audacity to make out like you're a civilised bunch. Even in 500 years you won't be as culturally, socially and politically developed as the west.

We don't prop up North Korea. The US sends more aid to North Korea than we do go blame the US for propping up North Korea LMAO.

I don't approve of China's claim on Taiwan (though it was the Western supported Chiang Kai Shek that carried out the White Terror in Taiwan, not the Chinese...). I certainly don't support the Chinese attack on Vietnam or the insanely large Chinese sea claims in the area. As for Tibet, maybe one day it should get more autonomy than it currently has. But China brought it out of the dark ages and there's no reason Tibet should not be a part of China.

Of course, any imperialist moves by China pale in comparison to the actions taken by the West... You can't even begin to compare it...

Taiwan is already free from Japan, don't worry about Taiwan being free from oppressors worry about Northern Ireland.
