Eid is only 2 weeks away from now and we all have to pay Sadaq-e-Fitr. I think giving this Sadaqa to the flood victims in Pakistan is one of the best options this year. Imagine if even a quarter of over a bilion muslims donate it to the flood victims, it will generate a huge amount of money. I personally will give half of sadaqa of my household to the needy in Afghanistan and half to the flood victims. I think we need to think about this option seriousely.

Sadaq-e-Fitr is for the poor and not for the masjid or its mullah.
sadaq e fitr is only 4 pound per head in u.k.
what about zakat, you have to pay 2.5% of your wealth in gold,silver,money you loaned out,money in the bank and land.
all for the poor and not mullah's.

Well, some people do pay it to the Mullahs, they consider them as poor. As per zakat, i wont have to pay it, i owe money from the others.
