Not sure how many of you've seen this video but it is quite amazing/shocking.

The video is from Nov 4, 2010

Has anyone ever seen this in mainstream media?

It is the Chibatão Terminal in the Port of Manaus on the River Amazon.

Is it due to poor construction standard or some other reason? Brazil, too, was used to be very rich in corruption.

This is on the Rio Negro; a major tributary branch of the Amazon. The Amazon in the high season (the rainy season) gains in flow (nearly doubles) and in a particularly good rain year takes down may be a million tonnes of mud from the banks. In my experience, I have seen that maps (charts) of the rivers are pretty useless and most times nobody even bothers to correct/update them for years. Banks change drastically, islands appear and disappear and the river depths keep changing all the time. It is by far the largest body of flowing water that I have seen.

Natural occurance , water errordes the seas line continously nothing unnatural ... humans should not build stuff like this along shores and earthquake fault lines specially
