Sri Lanka drops plan to buy fighters from Pak after India objects

Interesting to know that even China does not use JF-17. Is there any country other than Pakistan that have JF-17s in its fleet?

Till now there is nothing .Perhaps some African or Latin American countries may opt because of China factor .
PLAAF already rejected this plane a long time ago.

JF-17 is an aircraft designed and developed as per Pakistan's requirements. Does it mean that ours and PLA Air Forces' requirements should be same? And does it mean that they should also induct it? Can U plz recall when was the last time PLA Air Force had inducted a light weight multi role aircraft? They dont do so now bcz they are aiming for heavies and that too because of their requirements and role and task of their Air Force.

''No comment was forthcoming from the JF-17 sales and marketing team when contacted. Officials here do not comment on defense deals before they have been signed, and the lack of official confirmation underlines that though something has been agreed to, it is not yet a legal contract.
The Sri Lankans themselves are reported to have pointed out the Tejas is not even yet in service in India. Tufail agrees, however, that Tejas' US-origin engine coupled with US sanctions against those nations, including Sri Lanka, deemed to be human rights violators by Washington mean the Tejas "would be a hard sell for India."
In contrast, he says the threat of Western sanctions does not hover over the JF-17''

Indian newspaper and their chutiyapa level is too high. Please if you want to post news about Pakistan use international source. No one gives a damn about toilet paper.

You can't handle Nepal let alone Srilanka.

This is what happens when a antelope tries for a parity with a tiger that have enough economy ,resources and diplomatic influence.
Our official still prefer 'disrupted' not 'stalled' .I hope our diplomats will take measures to convert it in to stalled permanently .
well i think most pakistanies seems to forget that when india makes a demand,it has 4th most powerful military and fastest growing 7th largest economy working behind it.
pakistan doesnt have any intl recognition without china backing it.so any sensible country would prefer to have indian support even if comes at a cost of angering pakistan.

Sri Lanka is too weak - it should get nukes to stop indian bullying - and then buy JF-17 both from Pakistan -
