Tawang: The Indian monastery town coveted by China

Tibet highways

Tibet highways

India has been actively constructing multiple expressways that connect Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Bengal. Notably, infrastructure development in eastern Bihar and North Bengal, which makes the strategically significant Siliguri corridor, which is often referred to as the chicken's neck, is also taking place. The focus is on enhancing railway and airport facilities throughout the entire eastern region. Once these infrastructure projects are finalized, they will significantly diminish the logistical advantage that the People's Liberation Army (PLA) currently holds over India in that particular region.

lOl, China has more, don't forget, China's economy is 5 times of India's, China's military buildup focuses US , not India.

When India finishes one road, China will finish 10 if not more, no one can challenge China in infrastructure building on this planet.

Indian Railways is also preparing a detailed project report (DPR) for the Delhi-Patna(Guwahati)-Kolkata Bullet train. The project aims to establish a high-speed rail link between Delhi, Patna, Guwahati, and Kolkata. The Delhi-Patna-Kolkata stretch is scheduled to be completed by 2030, while the Patna-Guwahati stretch is targeted for completion by 2050. This ambitious rail project is expected to significantly enhance connectivity and travel efficiency in the region once it is fully operational.
And The train network in Tibet is a semi-high-speed rail corridor, unlike the high-speed rail line found between Beijing and Shanghai.

What about Vande bharat running along the LAC?

Lol, China builds infra projects all around the world, again, we are not competing with India, China is competing with the west, India is not even a side show for us, side show is Japan and S. Korea.

The present Dalai Lama was born in Tawang. It is likely that the next one will be found there too. China wish to eliminate Dalai Lama completely hence covets this Himalayan town on this side of the mountain ranges.

Yes, the Chinese captured Tawang in 1962 and then vacated it. Their folly. Now, India is very well prepared, more so than the Chinese, with good infrastructure, highly trained Army as opposed to conscripts of Chinese army, high mountain peaks to limit any big ingress into Indian side. Rather, Indian Army is waiting for Chinese to cross over to Indian side in big numbers and then fight a loosing battle and then surrender. That will be reverse of Indian surrender in 1962. India is looking forward to that.

That psycho advantage which the Chinese enjoyed for the last ten years of big power has been squandered away by them with their failing economy, American military buildup in Indo-Pacific and American fully supporting India against China economically and militarily. Hence all Chinese advantages have been neuterlized.

‘Chinese value prestige more than anything else hence would not fight a loosing war in the Himalayas but just intimidate.
In your wet dream.

The project to connect Kathmandu to Beijing via a Bullet train has been ongoing for the past 20 years. However, despite the long duration, I have not witnessed the operation of even a regular toy train between the two cities.

The train running in Tibet, China, is not a bullet train but is comparable to India's Vande Bharat Express. However, it is likely that the Chinese will continue their efforts to operate a bullet train in Tibet.

20 years ago China barely had a bullet train, the first train, not bullet train, but a conventional internal combustion engine train was put in operation in Tibet in 2006, that was the first ever train in Tibet, are you talking about your bullet train project with Japan?

India's growth is based on record deficit. they are both money though
Last year we were having trade deficit because of high crude oil prices

Morgan Stanley: At $332 billion in 2023, India's services exports are now 150 percent of the $218 billion recorded in 2019

China's growth is based on record high surplus
Majority of your growth comes from real estate sector which accounts for 30 percent of China's GDP

People in this region don't look Indian. It's basically under occupation.

‘Even at Bande Bharat level, the Chinese train is highly unprofitable. They build it for prestige which has resulted in $890 billion Railway debt on all bullet train and practically no income to,pay.

Just take it slowly, one kilometer at a time. Indians will just make some noice and break some made in china products thats it.

North East is inhabited by mongoloid people’s...
