Tejas LSP-7 in first flight any time now

For our honourable members here who think that Mirage 2000 and Tejas look the same.

dude really u didnt need to work that hard to prove it to them, just let them live their live. when we will be a superpower of the world they will still come on pdf and say india stole the superpower concept from us or ex soviet. Our plane has made a flight they should first learn to build a car then come and talk abt aerospace market.

It looks more like a trainer than a fighter jet...

The reason why i am saying LCA trainer is too basic and not like a fighter jet because of its air frame

LCA (2 seat) by its design and other factors doesnt seem to look like a fighter.

In case there were any confusion about where the LCA twin seat cockpit design is based on. :disagree:

I can only repeat, trolls just see what they want to see, not the reality!

thats tru the twin cockpit is definitely influenced by sukhoi. we manufacture them so integrating it with tejas wouldnt have been a problem. but the confusion here is not about the cockpit, its about the airframe

some home made aerospace geniuses have come to the conclusion that its a complete copy of mirage 2000 just by looking at the pics. not even realizing that both are different class and made for different purpose.

did tejas use kaveri engine?

No, Kaveri K9 is not useful for Tejas so far, only the Kaveri / Snecma engine will be and it is aimed to replace GE 404 from LCA Mk1 during future MLU.

LSP 7 got modified Intake design for more aerodynamics performance like high AOA

Source please!

No, he meant the cockpit section, because it reminds him to a basic trainer, compared to the JF17 or F16 twin seater pics he posted. Just one of the points where he clearly lacks the knowledge.

Can we stop replying to the miserable trolls and have some discussions about what all capabilities need to be tested yet ? or what sort of role it can play etc...

Plz no more explanation for differences between Mirage and LCA

Plz check out my post no 15 and answer it.

Karan - Somebody has modified wiki based on what was disclosed in BR. And its not just APU intake - its even engine intake that has been modified. Also wiki is not a reliable source - this information has not been disclosed by ADA !

Beside the different paint job and camera angle, they are identical (though only in appearance; not quality and ability). HAL Tejas is a blatant copy of the French Mirage with no regards to intellectual property rights. It took 40 years for india to copy a plane that took France less than 5 years to develop and build.

The Mirage III family grew out of French government studies began in 1952 that led in early 1953 to a specification for a lightweight, all-weather interceptor.
1st flight: 17 November 1956

Huum typical pakistani cnt do anything but specialist in criticizing others.
