Terror hits Bacha Khan University Charsadda

Isn't a time to ask tough questions instead of sticking to the rhetoric. Who was behind it, how that breach of intelligence happened, who failed who? Proofs or there is no need to blame anyone.

again Indian media as usual biased reporting 60 to 70 casualties

5th terror attack and the biggest yet in 20 days of the new year, that's 1 every four days. How on earth does one explain this sudden resurgence when zarb-e-azb was supposedly nearing completion ?
Due to negotiations woth Afghani taliban they fear they may expel them from Afghanistan so they are again resorting to targeting civilians to create fear plus they are taking advantage of low visibility in this foggy season

People have these weapons, they just change sides when they deem fit there agenda.
So isnt banning public from having access to weapons will bring down the issue to somewhat ?

Could this be an attempt of desperation by ttp to derail peace talks in Afghanistan and risk possible expulsion by afghan taliban?

University almost cleared....
Quarantine going on for surrounding Area..

Should rectify the reason for these attacks..

We can ask hundreds of questions but we would never know unless the people responsible to keep a watch on us tell us the entire truth.

but aren't Afghan talibs and TTP allies ?

That's what I have had been saying. But government is helpless to inforce such bans as lot of people poses these weapons throughout the country. Military just should impose Martial Law and make everyone turn in there weapons temporarily just like how it's done in India during national holidays.

It is being reported that there were 54 armed guards of the university. And they did really well in containing the terrorists else they would have accessed all the blocks and went on killing spree.

A debate on questioning the operation will be seen. I think! Even I'm questioning myself about ZA op.

You should not. Question should be about complete implementation of National Action Plan. Military actions can do only thus far. This is not a regular war. This is irregular warfare. Enemy is hidden and strikes at vulnerable innocents. Answer lies in complete response. A comprehensive one not just the military. Governance and society has to join in the effort or we will keep loosing innocents. There is no other way on God's earth to stop it. US with all its military might could not stop it in Afghanistan because Governance failed miserably and society was divided.

It's a fight we shall have to fight. The moment you think they can't be defeated they have won. Defeat has no physical presence. It's a state of mind.

Of course it's not going to be. But how do they enter in with crossing the borders?
Obviously, we all know we also have to clean the mess is inside the country.
The borders are not secure - they will continue to remain insecure. Even the US can't secure it's border with Mexico and they have many magnitudes more resources to spend. The border can definitely be enforced significantly more, but that is going cost billions of dollars to do effectively - it's not just a matter of building walls and ditches - the walls and ditches have to be monitored with a rapid response capability (likely lots and lots of helicopters) in place to respond to any observed violations.

This is a massive undertaking and our military is still struggling to get enough helicopters to support regular operations, forget about choppers just for border enforcement.
