It was the joyous day of Eid ul Adha! People in the northern province of Baghlan were coming out of a Mosque after offering the prayers and greeting each other. That’s when a teenager approached a group of elders and detonated the suicide jacket, killing seven people on the spot. A day later in Badghis province, a roadside bomb killed 9 civilian members of the same family, including women and children when they were travelling to go greet other family members in the next town.

The barbaric Taliban did not even spare innocent people on one of the holiest day of the year. The irony is that on Friday, a website used by the Taliban posted a message purported to be from Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar, who called on insurgents to “take every step to protect the lives and wealth of ordinary people.” Two days later, in just two attacks, over twenty innocents were killed and many injured in another ferocious display of terror.

The Taliban Hypocrisy continues, and they keep killing without remorse. The hypocrisy goes as far as using young children as suicide bombers to carry out their evil motives. The message to protect the civilians is just hogwash, while mayhem continues. According to a UN report, just in the first six months of this year the civilian casualties have been up by 15%, most coming at the hands of Taliban. It is time for those who give the Taliban an iota of leeway to rethink and take a second look at their acts of terror. Don’t you clearly see that these terrorists are attempting to deceive us just so they can continue their mission of death and intimidation?

Yes dear we are discovering "heavens" made in four room villas in Pakistan with paintings of beautiful women and gardens used to trick these hormone raged boys into blowing themselves!

There are no people on this planet Earth who are more IGNORANT than this beast called Taliban. These Morons have given Islam a bad name with their twisted version of Islam. Islam is a peaceful progressive religion and yet these Ignorant fools have converted my beautiful religion into a mockery. May they burn in Hell.

KABUL: Human rights group Amnesty International said on Wednesday that Afghan Taliban leader Mullah Omar’s call for fighters to reduce civilian casualties was “hypocritical”.

Amnesty said the statement issued in Omar’s name last week to mark the Muslim holiday of Eidul Azha was “more about propaganda and less about actually protecting civilians”.

There were two major attacks in Afghanistan during Eid, which were blamed on the Taliban and left many civilians dead.

The United Nations says the Taliban is responsible for the vast majority of civilian deaths in the ten-year Afghan war between Taliban-led insurgents and international and Afghan government forces.

“The Afghan people would welcome any genuine effort to reduce civilian casualties,” said Sam Zarifi, Amnesty International’s Asia Pacific director, in a statement issued on the organisation’s website.

“However, Mullah Omar’s message seems hypocritical, as it is more about propaganda and less about actually protecting civilians.

He suggests that the majority of civilian casualties are accidental and could be avoided if Afghans kept away from foreign troops.

“He doesn’t order his commanders to halt targeted assassinations, or stop using suicide bombers or improvised explosive devices in civilian areas.”

On Friday, the Taliban published a statement on their website attributed to Omar which called on fighters “to take every step to protect the lives and wealth of ordinary people”.

The statement warned of punishments under Islamic Sharia law for insurgents responsible for civilian deaths.

But on Sunday, a Taliban suicide bomber killed seven people returning from prayers at a mosque in the northern city of Baghlan.
And on Monday, nine civilians from one family plus two policemen were killed when a roadside bomb struck their vehicle in northwest Afghanistan.
The UN has said that the number of civilians killed in the Afghan war in the first half of this year rose 15 per cent to 1,462, with insurgents responsible for 80 per cent of the deaths.

I find this one funny for many reasons, one of them is about suicide bombers. If a suicide bomber finishes the job successfully, how do you punish him/her?

This is not as much ignorant as giving out a false interpretation of the Quran and Islam. These people are definitely not muslims, nor humans.

What a hell the Calling Taliban why not calling them the persons of differ countries militants recruiting by Agencies..:coffee:

And still pakistani and its govt. Support taliban and want to negotiation with them but do not want to negotiate TTP( similiar in evilness)

Can you say the same thing about the LeT and JeM who are doing in Kashmir what the Taliban are doing in Pakistan? If, as you mentioned, Islam is a peaceful progressive religion, why are these terrorists being sent into Kashmir by terrorist organizations based in Pakistan to kill and maim?

Or, is killing innocent men women and children a crime only in Pakistan?

I find the bigger irony to be America, which is a known human rights abuser and a known civilian murderer, calling out the Taliban.

Both are really awful people. If you go by the numbers (of people killed) then the Taliban are in the minor leagues compared to good ol USofA

Taliban and TTP are two different entities.

Taliban are freedom fighters. They were in government in Kabul before coalition forces attacked Afghanistan. They are fighting against coalition forces in their country.

TTP is a group of criminals. Who have adopted the name taliban like dozen different groups did. They claimed to be part of Taliban (afghan) but Taliban disowned them.

Both Taliban in these 2 countries have the same ideology, same goal.

Totally wrong.

Taliban in Afghanistan have a cause of fighting against freeing their country from alien forces. They also want to declare Sharia as law of land. They dont call Afghanistan as Afghanistan. Infact they call it Islamic Emirates of Afghanistan. People of the areas which were governed by Taliban were with them because of low crime rate and easy access to justice.

TTP is a criminal organization, indulged in extreme brutality against the people living in the area. People of the area are not with them. Infact people of the area formed armed militias to fight against TTP. TTP do not promote wishes of the people of land.

If they had same goals, Mullah Omar would never have disowned Baitullah Mehsud.

Ideologically, the Taliban & the TTP are similar. Both are brutal & violent. The differences are that the Taliban has been the official government of Afghanistan, whereas the TTP has never been the official government of Pakistan. The Taliban in Afghanistan also has more support from the Afghans than the TTP has from Pakistanis. The reason for that is that the Taliban in Afghanistan claim to be fighting the foreign intruders in their country (who installed the puppet regime), whereas there are no foreign troops inside Pakistan, & the current government was elected democratically by the people of Pakistan. Another difference between the Taliban & TTP is that the Taliban effectively controls over 80% of Afghanistan, whereas the TTP controls 1-2% of Pakistan at best.
