What's new

The U.S. just sent a carrier strike group to confront China

My god now using the UN for propaganda the UN of all things its funny

Yap, this is how international politics played. Born yesterday? :partay:
UNESCO is a scientific branch of the UN. Such employment does not equate to official UN acknowledgement of territorial sovereignty by anyone.

Here is a list of World Heritage sites in China...

China - UNESCO World Heritage Centre

This means the UN denied Chinese sovereignty on those sites, right ?

We are talking about UNESCO IOC here, so your reference of UNESCO World Heritage is off topic.

"In March 1987, the UNESCO IOC commissioned China to build the observation post at the Spratly Islands"

Do you understand this simple English sentence? It means UN dose not recognize Vietnam's claim over Spratly Islands. Your delegation to UN agreed UN's position. It doesn't matter how much you jump up and down here, the simple fact is that China built the Ocean Observatory on Spratly Island in SCS with UN's mandate.

By the way, Vietnam has nothing to do with UNCLOS arbitration, so don't hide behind Pinoys butts. :D

UNESCO IOC is also not involved into sovereignty dispute of all countries in the world. Its 1 post observation related to Zhongsa under occupation of China in SCS only, but aggressive Chinese invaded in to 4 archaeological reefs in Spratly (Nasha) 1988.

greedy Chinese is liar.:smokin:

I didn't know about this. Very interesting !

and disclosed that Chinese has fabricated, she is the un-trusted people.

but Mr. Abe doesn't think respectfully like you.

Abe is actually pro China. However in the national level, Abe is only an elected official and will adopt policies for the best of Japan. Closer relations with China are thetical to Japan's interest!

but Mr. Abe doesn't think respectfully like you.

You know that China is our largest trading partner, yes? You must understand that hostilities , perceived or actual, lead to disruption in trade. This is why Japan will not take sides and will merely show solidarity for peaceful resolution in the principle of national cooperation. However we will not take sides.

This is just too pathetic! Both in form and in substance. :omghaha:

You know no everyone needs to be on the leash of his government. Brainwashed viet, time to use your own brain.

Here is a start:

Why did Mr. Abe supported the change of the peace legislation of Japan to rearm the Japan Imperial army ? :-)

Related to the document you posted. It is stated in Page 4, item 23 is that there is " The convention call for co-operation in its implementation ... and also to maintenance of peace and security among the nations".

China did not do it in Zhongsha under occupation of China, China invaded in to South Johnson reefs of Vietnam and killed brutally 64 Vietnamese there.

Chinese is aggressor.:smokin:

IMO, it's a dilemma for US.

Backgrounds:

1. The 'Pivot to Asia' was proposed by Obama, the new policy or strategy to maitain the super power role and to confront China.
2. The disputes among China and other countries in SCS.
3. The chaos that is already created by US in SCS for 'free navigation'.
4. The allies of US need US to protect them for their own benefits and the opportunistic motives.
5. Bad economy background lead to that US need capital flow turn to US to support their economy.
6. Election season need US's tough voices or actions to confront rivals and act as a punisher or cop to comfort their people and maitain the super power image don't mention ally or not.
7. History or reality told us that US can't afford to attack China even with a limited war so that find agents to confront China is their top priority.

Realities:
1. The cost of 'free navigation' is higher than China, SCS is just in China's backyard. The cost is even higher to send carrier battle group but US has to pay the check for those conditions.
2. Send a carrier battle group to SCS that has to face the monitor/detection of radio/wave characteristics by PLAN's ships.
3. The battle group will be definitely tracked by sensor systems that will enhance the performance of DF21D and DF26.
4. The counter measures and resources from China will be various and with the islands building process development, there will be even more.
5. The 'free navigation' will force China to build more military facilities on islands of China in SCS and steadily conform the dominant situation.
6. Game in SCS has started by US and China has to attend in, but when and how to stop the game China has her own choice.
7. With speaking louder for 'free navigation', there's no signal that China will stop building islands and putting more military equipment on islands. There's just no room for China to fallback.
8. For the agents or cost issues, US will push their allies forward to challenge China, Australia, Phillipine, South Korea, Japan just don't matter.

US always fight for their own benefits and currently for their super power domination. China has to face US sooner or later and China has no choice but to turn the crisis to opportunity. IMO, it's not bad for China.

Let's wait and see the change of game when the new president of US comes out.

I think he was frustrated by Lanka allowing the docking of the Chinese sub support ship, that on essence is akin to the docking of sub itself -- a face saving act not to upset the Indians too much.

Off topic, I think Lanka is starting to repair the relationships with China now, given two latest news that China has taken the number one spot and outnumbered visitors from India as the most number of tourist arrivals, and two counties are going to sign the Free Trade Agreement.

I was just there in Lanka about a month ago. I thought I landed in China mistakenly. The airport was completely filled with Chinese businessmen. I could hardly believe that this is Sri Lanka, lol...
