But not this aye !

C-802 is not 90s tech as you know sir, and then why USN is using harpoon on their ship if subsonic anti ship missile is old which is 60s era design @MastanKhan

and so does anti ship missiles tech/strategies/tactics of the world wont sitting idle @MastanKhan
FYI: https://defence.pk/pdf/threads/uss-...ise-missiles-in-yemeni-waters-in-2016.543523/

C-802 derivatives also failed to breach defenses of USS Mason near Yemen in 2016.

USN have unparalleled operational footprint, surveillance at its disposal, and understanding of combat tactics in the seas. Technological supremacy is a plus on top.

Go ahead and try all these 'carrier killers' on USN and see what happens. Talk is cheap and PsyOps is also cheap.

There are no shortcuts to beating USN in a shooting contest.

for single attack its ok, but for saturation attack from different directions and speed (supersonic/Subsonic) USN has quite difficulty to deal with @LeGenD

USS Mason and USS Nitze coordinated to defeat a mass attack from the Houthi-manned coastal defenses involving 5 x ASCM (i.e. Cooperative Engagement Capability). After this volley, USS Nitze took good care of the Houthi-manned coastal defenses with its firepower*, and attacks on passing-by ships have stopped since.

You are describing a scenario in which positions of the USN would be clearly visible on the radar screens of an adversary, but this is unlikely when USN will be up against a well-armed foe. USN would rather prefer to neutralize coastal defenses, drones and aircraft of a well-armed foe early on.

Nevertheless, Aegis class radar system(s) of the USN can track 100+ targets in real-time and develop fire solution for multiple targets in one go. And these radar systems can talk to each other (exchange of valuable information across vessels) to develop fire solutions for mass attacks from different directions during the course of operations. These functions are automated, and the crew have space to think more on the lines of combat tactics during the course of hostilities.

Biggest threat for USN as far as i remember i read somewhere in might be on janes defense weekly or global security, i can't remember correctly is the sizzler type anti ship missile (subsonic at cruise, terminal at supersonic) because at subsonic these missiles has very low RCS/IR signature because these missiles low at horizon and at terminal speed they have far less reaction times compare to all subsonic or all supersonic missiles @LeGenD

Why do people here think that Pakistan is going to or needs to attack USN Battle group.....For now we only need to worry about India and keep a look out for its AC.....IN'c battle group is not on par with the USN Battle group nor are they experience enough to operate it.....the fact is at the moment their air wing lacks a punch.....

Exactly, rather than understanding the scenario that may face Pakistan, people let their minds drift all over.
We have no issues with US or any other major carrier operators. The aim is to neutralise any threat from East and there was good reason that during recent hostilities, Indians thought it safe to shift their carrier to East Bengal.

Pakistan not having an issue with major carrier operators is only a matter of time due to our choices in recent geo strategic alignment in the region. Pakistan is now firmly in Chinese block and has offered a solution to her to break the US encirclement from her eastern neighbors like Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and Philippine by offering her free access to Indian Ocean through Gwadar. So in this emerging scenario India does not remain the only threat. US is part of it due to her hostilities with China. A conflict among India and Pakistan is bound to spiral out to a greater regional conflict if not a World War. Time for Pakistan to look for bigger and more capable platforms (Perhaps that explains the existence of CM-400AKG along with C-802; Two AShM integrated on Thunders). Diplomacy always require a strong military muscle. NO one negotiate peace with a weak nation. History is witness of this obvious fact!

There is no need for Pakistan to be a part of 'any' camp. WE should strive for constructive relations with every great power out there (strategic balance). The Cold War era foreign policy of picking sides is no longer sustainable, and will eventually lead to ruin.

No country is a savior or messiah. Do not be any side's pawn.

Ideally, I agree with you 100% ... BUT .... As they say .... "Hai Jurm e Zaeefi ki Saza Marg e Mafajaat". (Punishment of Weak one is death of his interests).

Sir the foreign relations required smartness and considering current FM one may consider that our FM is quite capable though in many areas he is supplemented by PA Chief i.e many Ambassadors directly meeting the Chief or other Defense related executives along with foreign visits. However though Pak foreign policy is smart yet due to Indian economic influence and tilt of US towards India we are not getting desired results. USA has backed of it;s stance to maintain stability in the region by providing hi tech equipment to India like Apache, P8 in the past, Chinook, hell fire missiles, even ready to shift production facility of F16 to India.

Meanwhile Pakistan now only getting limited military supply and perhaps regular training in USA defense institution has also been stopped. The AH1Z are in storage and SWIFT ships contract status unknown. Now though not apparently but yet a block is in development on one side pro China/Russia and on other side are USA/EU .

Pakistan is being pushed openly in opposite block by USA despite having heavy support in Civil/Military leadership as both mostly settle in EU or USA after end of carrier and have direct contacts.

The CM 400 installed on JF 17 with range of about 280 KM is at least a real threat for Indian AC as so far best SAMs of India are having max range up to 70-100KM so if saturated attack is managed by sufficient number of JF17s one can achieve the task. Further as for short range of JF17s they have IFRs and their range can be increased up to sufficient level and perhaps shall further improve in case of block 3.
