Kashmiri Hindus could have set up terrorist camps in Himanchal Pradesh and carried out a jihad against non-believers in Kashmir.... but this peaceful community lives in the question mark between vociferous Kashmiri Muslims and secular indian government.

Our own brethren turned against us, instigated by people across the border.
The ordinary Kashmiri muslim was much less orthodox than other sects. But then they were instigated against us.
slogans would be raised after friday "prayer"s, often amounting to such things as "leave kashmir but keep your women behind ".
a very heart wrenching incident happened in Srinagar. This was one of the incidents that lead all Pandits to leave the valley enmasse.
A very well known professor of KU was killed in college by his own students. In another case, militants entered a house, only to find no one there. Entering houses in broad daylight was common.
The man in the house had seen them coming and hidden in a drum on his terrace. When the militants were about to leave, their Muslim NEIGHBORS gestured to them that he was hiding there.
They went back in sprayed the drum with bullets.
KPs were often killed and the bodies mutilated. Gunshot wounds were found on the place were the person applies tika. The janeu was often found desecrated.
Such barbarism was unjustified. the action of the state was muted. if anything saved some Pandits was our commitment to education of children. Even after losing everything in the valley, many of us have risen to success and prosperity. But a good number of people live in refugee tents, and some are being shifted to the colony in Jagati. Our return looks impossible.
Peace in the valley is just like a bubble which can burst anytime. Even among those who are well off the elderly are all clinically depressed. Almost all senior members of our community suffer from depression due to this uprooting of ourselves from our homes, our motherland, our Maej Kashir.
The video is a must see. It is not propapaganda, it is not a story. Just pictures. Have courage to face the truth.
