Şimşek is developing by Turkeys biggest rocket Company "Roketsan"

Şimşek will carry 1.5 tonnes of payload to 700 km altidute.

Turkey also developing sounding rockets called Mikro Ufa and Burak They are two different project.

Mikro ufa will cary 100kg to 400 km altidute.

Burak Sounding Rocket

Burak will carry cubic experimantal satellites to 100 km altidute

Turkey also developing heat resistant shield material for human missions. and hypersonic rockets.

Şimşek pronaunced as"Shemshak(!)" it means lightning or thunder. And UFA is Shortage for "Uydu Fırlatma Aracı" which means sattellite launching vehicle

No. Şimşek UFA is still under development and they didn't share any test videos or officials didn't say anything about tests.Even if they tested rocket we don't know yet.
