They returned home after being abducted for almost six months.

Two Iranian technicians abducted by armed anti-government gangs in Syria were released and flew back home amid warm welcome by their families and friends.

Sajad Amirian and Kioumars Qobadi are two of the seven Iranian engineers and technicians abducted on December 20th, 2011 by armed anti-government groups in Syria while building a power plant near the city of Homs, west of Syria.

Meanwhile, last month two more Iranian hostages were released. One of the two, who was at the airport to welcome his newly-released friends, told Press TV about their conditions in captivity. But three more Iranian technicians are still held by Syrian armed groups and their whereabouts are not known. Tehran has called on Damascus to secure the release and safe return of its nationals.

Don't know its posted before or not but congradulations guys... I hope other technicians will be released soon enough and return to their families.

If they were not involved in the fighting, then it would be unethical and immoral of FSA to keep them in detention.

They were technicians who worked in a construction of a power plant so no, they are not related to any armed conflict
