President Joe Biden has ordered the United States flag to be flown at half-staff across the country until sunset on May 11, 2023, in honor of the victims of the Allen Premium Outlets shooting.

The mass shooting took place when a man opened fire at the outlet mall just after 3:30 p.m. May 6.

Authorities say eight people were killed and seven wounded before the assailant was killed by a police officer who happened to be nearby.

Saturday's shooting in Allen, Texas, was the latest eruption of gun violence in the U.S., which has seen an unprecedented pace of mass killings this year.

Whats the line that separates terrorism from gun violence? The shooter was some hispanic guy and killed people and children indiscriminately without targeting any race. So that rules out any similarity to Dylan roof. I personally think guns should not be available to the public in a civilised society.

Well, for starter, Terrorist attack are planned, he choose this mall for a reason, this is not a particular valuable mall, the guy choose this mall because of its bottleneck, you have 2 exit in and out, it would create a bottleneck with a lot of visitor on the weekend.

He is a far right extremists same as Dylann Roof, he is seen wearing those RWDS tag in his body armour, and the fact that he wear it and load up with a lot of munition means he is prepared for it, literally the same attack profile when Dylann Roof shoot up that church in SC. You don't really need to be white to be Far Right White Supremist extremist.

He would have gotten those weapon otherwise, if not bombs or even automobile (where another suspected terrorist attack taken place with a car mounting the sidewalk killing 8 again in Texas) that show you the level of planning of this attack, this would have happen with or without gun law.

sad, I go to this outside mall so many times.
it was sad to see a young Indian woman in the list of victims. She came to study in the US, became an engineer here, and died at the hands of a right-wing nut job in the street.
Allen is one of those over priced suburbs that are now al over TX as if it was Cali.
