(Reuters) - Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich on Saturday re-affirmed his commitment to signing key agreements with the European Union, including on trade, despite a threat by Russia's Vladimir Putin of possible retaliatory measures.

No one will ever take Ukraine into the EU. As Turkey. Although there is one option - if from 52 million Ukrainians in 1991 (now we have 45 mln and 7 mln works abroad - so 38 mln still live in Ukraine) will remains 10-20 million - then they accept it. Europe needs slaves and prostitutes , but not too much.

Hahaha,there he is froathing at the mouth,right on time!

Keep in mind this is the "pro russian" party in power in Ukraine but they're still pretty smart,they want to be in the civilised club not in the new soviet gulag Putin is building.Good job Ukraine!

Ofcourse if you ask me only western Ukraine should be admitted in the EU...as part of Poland and Romania

Well they both should reach an amenable agreement. Their rift is causing delay to a wonderful project An-70 transport aircraft.

And because of that delay, clients are being lost and competition in European aerospace industry is getting killed.
