US hacked NTC to spy on Pakistan military, political leadership: Snowden documents

The United States hacked into targets in the Pakistan's National Telecommunications Corporation (NTC) to spy on the country's political and military leadership, documents released by former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden confirm.

According to a report by online news site The Intercept, the previously unpublished documents released by Snowden confirm that some of the NSA's top-secret code has been leaked or hacked.

In the latest leak of top-secret documents, Snowden has given The Intercept a classified draft NSA manual on how to implant the SECONDDATE malware – malicious code that is used to monitor or control someone else's computer, the website said.

"There are at least two documented cases of SECONDDATE being used to successfully infect computers overseas: An April 2013 presentation boasts of successful attacks against computer systems in both Pakistan and Lebanon," said The Intercept report.

"In the first, NSA hackers used SECONDDATE to breach 'targets in Pakistan’s National Telecommunications Corporation’s (NTC) VIP Division,' which contained documents pertaining to 'the backbone of Pakistan’s Green Line communications network' used by 'civilian and military leadership'," said the report.

According to report, SECONDDATE is just one method used by the NSA to hack into target computer systems and networks.

Another document in the cache released by Snowden describes how the NSA used software other than SECONDDATE to repeatedly attack and hack into computer systems in Pakistan.

• Military uses licenses or access to data for users who use the services

• If Product from these companies are used in Military Infrastructure one can guess how
  easy it is for hackers to infiltrate thru backdoor - It is really not hard , becasue Server Technology companies have backdoor & Hidden pathways which can be activated provided they can get thru Firewalls (CISCO etc and other companies)

• It is common knowledge due to Snowden's deceleration even telephone conversation are routed and recorded

This is one of the main reasons why Russia / China have decided to start build own "Software" and Server Technology for Military purpose

Also now , US is also collecting "Eye scans for future espionage" stealing people's person eye scans , if in future "ID access become dependent on eye scan" guess who has access to all the
DATA directly which depends on eye scans ? (Similar to how it was shown in Mission impossible)

I saw some screens showing US scanning people in Iraq their eye scans also people on Airports their eye scans are taken

I think he is referring to Green line for military as PASCom. In any case there is a separate and direct line between military leadership called DEFCom. It was authorised to Colonel (Col staff of Div HQ) and above.

Otherwise green line could be PTCL. But Military hardly uses PTCL. Civilian Government does.

Lastly NTC and PTCL are different organisations but can use same backbone of optical fibre.

lol, They don't have to plant. People looking for quick cash and American visa volunteer themselves. There are always people like that in every country, even in US. But people in poor countries are more likely to sell themselves.
