What's new

What and who are behind hate-ISI campaign ?

1)2) i did not blame ISI but judiciary because they are afraid of these Low life and not able to delivered justice to the victim and dont improvise justice system to handle terrorist and let them go to commit the same crime.if they deliver good verdict and prosecute or start hanging them ,then politician will distance them self from these low life .

3)In India we are very clear if you go against the country nobody care for your rights and make them a example for the people to learn and not to make same mistake, some time the authority makes mistake and prosecute innocent also nobody is perfect.

4)these is the right time to implement russian type Foreign Agent label to these NGO's who are finance from abroad.and let the people see how these foreign agent working against your country.

5)your judiciary is so stupid to consider Lal masjid as massacre and killing the low life in balochistan against the former president and wants to prosecute him. we killed hundreds in golden temple they where all terrorist and made it clear you cannot hide from the law.

1. Its not the ISI but flawed political system and flawed politicians who are playing bigger role in creation of problems.

2. Judged are not incompetent but the political parties who are allied to the extremists.

3. And again Its Pakistan NOT India where you can get away with black laws like TADA and PODA. Here the western bitches aka NGOs and their touts are bigger culprits helping in release of terrorists and opposing such laws.

4. In Pakistan its just 10 years that we failed to sentence terrorists arrested by intelligence but we have our reasons including continued militancy and support of NGO/neo liberals to these terrorists. Whereas in India despite peace you failed to sentence any main charactor of 84 Sikh genocide.

The moral of the story is we are doing much better despite difficulties.

Yesterday i saw some women probably some activist accusing "agencies" of hazara town blast..... when the host and some other guest asked why would they do such a thing or why their offices are being targetted by militants... the old hag got confused.... these conspiracy theorists are a sad bunch!

They should be thanking the spooks bc without them, there'd e a lot more carnage

Many attempts to stir up trouble have been thwarted.

ISI is good but they aren't God. They can't stop every plan that is being hatched by the enemy(s)

To suggest they are involved in sectarian killin is beyond absurd. How would they gain from it. Those vilifying the "agencies" are having an anti state agenda and they shouldn't be tolerated. Especially now in this complex security environment

Attempts to malign or harm Pakistan will be responded to in kind.

As for the Bruce riedels and other propaganda artists, what change can they bring? ISI hasn't been weakened at all in fact if anything - they are further emboldened. The indians of course and their tail wagging lobbies have tried for years to malign the ISI/MI, much to no avail.

They'll try though :)

Traditionally every country has Special branch , so not sure why ISI gets lot of heat , all in all they seem to be a very capable organization which angers some which is fine because we don't care as long as they keep doing their job

ISI is all too public now. IMO intel agencies should ideally work in the shadows. No offence, but it is all too visible. What say?

that does not make anyone above the law......there ought to be rules where home and citizens are concerned.....they are here to protect us not threaten us from time to time when we have difference of opinion.

If they were doing a good job, then they would not get the heat - it's because they are so terrible at their job that they get heat - Look, what do we have to suggest that they "seem to be a very capable organization"? Capable at what? attracting undue attention??

French and UK and German secret services are up o all kinds of things, and yet they seem not to attract the undue attention ISI does, how is that? Pakistan have been facing insurrections, leftist, tribal and religious fr the last 12 years, how is it that the Pakistani public knows next to nothing about the substance of these insurrections, their funding and leadership?? Cause ISI is good at what it does?
We have to be reasonable, if they were good at their job, we would not have the problems that we have.

not really....it's public because it pisses some people in some policy circles off; meaning they must be doing something right

a good deal of its gathering capability is done via human intelligence, informant networks etc...the old fashioned way in other words.

going by your logic, intel services like the CIA/NSA are failing abysmally because they are in the limelight over Edward Snowden and the domestic and int'L Prism/espionage case.

there certainly have been failures but look at the neighborhood we are in....it would be a huge test for any spy agency, especially given the amount of treachery and insurrections (which you brought up) taking place in the neighorhood and even within

without them things would be a helluva lot worse and there'd be fewer checks on this game of chess that is being played

They certainly must be doing something right. But they must be doing a lot wrong as well. Either way - things like that should not be present in the public domain. Just like Mossad.

What matters is plausible deniability, given absence of evidence

Like Mossad or any other effective and active intel service

The Abbottabad Commission. Just read their report, it drips with contempt for the ISI. Apparently Pakistanis have good reason to hate this organization - but perhaps mocking them as incompetents would be more appropriate right now.

Then you know absolutely nothing about how competent and overwhelmed and out numbered they are.....they are fighting on three fronts....trust me your fat would be in the fire even if you kept 1000 Warthog and Specter sorties a day....check the number again yeah I said 1000 and I aint taken em back.....but like all organisations they have weak-links and of course their share of criminal and corrupt activity but to call them 'Useless' is a fools choice.Maybe they ought to let the talibs have a reign in this conflict and then we will know how scholarly you Delta boys are....friggin pansies need a billion dollars to do the same job our boys do in 100,000 Dollars.

@Areonaut
Tell him how hard they are fighting to keep America's sorry backside out of the fire.

Its possible there as regular folks are munchkins and gomer piles there folks here are much more observant and well informed.....even Indians usually know what there intel is up to.....and the media too in the west usually suppresses weak leaks...they only hitch along for the ride when Snowden blasts that info all over the net and blogs[ funny thing is same info was revealed nearly 8 years ago and these same western outlets ignored these]....ours is a freer and more effective media....now what the ISI should do is drop the usual dirty tricks as that is Haram and instead try its level best to follow the law and be transparent in its workings in front of the judiciary and the civilian establishment...that includes elected officials....only then will they become that amazing intel work horse we saw in the late 80's.

today war is not just fought with tanks guns and planes..there are a billion other ways and certainly media is a gr8 weapon among them..
