But within 24 it is almost impossible. If Australia provide direct 3 year phd without masters it is a different issue. But quality should be low of such universities.

Most PhDs from Harvard University and other top Universities in US are around 25 and 26. It is almost impossible to find a newly minted Harvard PhD with an age above 30

Maybe, i'm going for Master in UK this year. Will find that out. :P

That is the reason why, in UK, the duration of a PhD is 3 years, while in US is could be 4 to 5 years

On the contrary, most of the PhDs in top universities are over thirty.

I don't know about PhDs, but MSc is one year here. And i'm getting a full customized the course in my subject. So i don't have to waste time studying irrelevant basics of the same. Thus 1 year.

Australians are very liberal in accelerated education if you prove that you are bloody smart, google Terence Tao you will be amazed.

You know studying Social Science at the Undergrad would have been heavenly....!

The only academic program called 'the DAS' that I do know of is the Digital Archive Specialist course. So is that what you're doing or did I get it completely wrong ?
