There's no human right greater than the right to food which is denied to over 200 million Indians who go to bed hungry each night, according to FAO data and World Hunger Index.

India has also a much worse industrial safety record than China. Bhopal, the worst industrial accident in human history, happened in India, not China.

India's air is the most toxic in the world, according to a recent Yale study.

Haq's Musings: Study Finds India's Air Most Toxic in the World
Industrial safety hey go and wash your face once.. plus smell some coffee, one Bhopal accident that was leakage of toxic gas, but what about hundreds die in mine accidents in china regularly. china has all top 10 most polluted cities, if some one go bed hungry is better than killed by govt. without any legal proceedings.

India is full of poverty, diseases and malnourished people in some cases worst then Africa whereas China is developed nation and super power.
why you don't mention with all above problems India is worlds fastest developing nation in the world. where neighboring countries like Pakistan is not capable of providing security to cricket players.

It is very unfortunate that economically resurgent India still remains home to the world's largest population of poor, hungry and illiterate people. Tragically, hunger remains India's biggest problem, with an estimated 7000 Indians dying of hunger every single day. Over 200 million Indians will go to bed hungry tonight, as they do every night, according to Bhookh.com. Along with chronic hunger, deep poverty and high illiteracy also continue to blight the lives of hundreds of millions of Indians on a daily basis.

In fact, India ranks among the poorest nations along with poorest of the poor in sub-Saharan Africa.

Developed at Oxford University, the Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) goes beyond income poverty based on $1.25 or $2 a day income levels. It measures a range of "deprivations" at household levels, such as schooling, nutrition, and access to health, clean water, electricity and sanitation. According to Oxford Poverty and Human Development Initiative (OPHI) country briefings 2010, 55% of Indians and 51% of Pakistanis are poor.

India is worse than Africa in almost everything, poverty/starvation etc.

However, for your second point, China is not a superpower. We are not even a developed nation.

So, RiasHag, by your number is it safe to say there more Indians live on $1.25 a day than the world combined? Since India has a large population.

More people die in a week from starvation in India, than in all the mining accidents combined in China for a decade.

Another person got a degree in starvation in India. The next step will be to apply for degree on toilets in India.

Avg Indian Min Salary (under NREGA is 100 Rs /Day min 100 days work = 10,000 INR /year =222 USD/Year

Rice /Wheat available to Poor = 2 - 4 Rs /Kg = 40-80 RS/ 20Kg = 0.8-1.7 USD /20 Kgs

While in China : Rice 50 yuan for 20 KG
Avg Salary : 550 Yuan for a worker

Therefore : China Ratio Rice : Salary = 0.090 (Min Worker salary in china and poor will earn less then this in china
India Ratio Rice/Wheat : Salary = 0.048 & 0.096 (These are poorest of poor people get and not workers)

One can see the ratio their is not much difference in wages :food product , there china matching india in terms of poverty n fooling .......

Price of rice rises in south China

We can now safely says that poor in china more then india and even if they killed , china govt do not mentioned it because of china news cencerships

Oh Mr. HAQ ,Why you make a mockery of yourself in front of educated /knowledgable people, your thing only world in front of uneducated people where one can also claim that Pak is ahead from india in satellite technology etc(mushraff said)

Would mind tell these people only half truth , would you also not like to tell these people that in India for poor Govt rice / wheat available at 2-4 Rs /KG = 0.04 -0.08 $ /Kg

Let going by your Logic indian getting 40 USD /month and spending 0.9 -1.8 USD for Rice /Wheat per 20Kg for a month.

lets calulate: 1.25 $ =38 $/ month -1700 INR

A family Required:

a) Rice 5kg @ 2 Rs/kg/month = 10 Rs
b) Wheat 5 kg @ 4 Rs/Kg/month = 20 Rs
c) Kerosin 30 Lit @ 9 Rs/lit/month =270 Rs
d) Cooking Oil 2 Lit @25Rs/lit/month =50 Rs
e) Sugar 1.5 Kg @ 17Rs/kg/month = 25.5 Rs
e) DAL 5 Kg @ 30 Rs/Kg/month = 150 Rs
f) Salt 1 Kg @ 2 Rs /Kg/Month = 2 Rs
G) vegetables monthly 100 = 100 Rs

which makes to total = 627 Rs /month
Other eating products Add 100 Rs = 627+100 = 727 Rs/month =

:welcome:

SO Mr. HAQ , please calculate things , so that you won't become the laughing stock in front of educated people , these things work with less educated pepole, and to my chiense friends truth is something else and whatever you says in your imaginary things.

If India has so much of poverty etc etc then why PAK Need billions of USD $ for running their country ???? simple logic.....simple answer
