Why did the people of Mosul welcome ISIS?

well my fear is that once ISIS get a bit more strong, they will have death squads roaming Iraq cleansing Shias, Christians and who ever the hell opposes them... Yet world will just watch and Muslims will find a way to justify it all and turn a blind eye.....sickening

With the type of brutality and disregard for human life we are seeing in Iraq, it might not even come to that. To ISIS, any and all individuals are fair game, they have been killing with impunity, making fairly little distinction between Shia and Sunni. Their drive-by shootings and Iraqi LEA pogroms are fine examples of their brutal nature. To the ISIS, its not a matter of killing infidels, to them its just about the body count and the shock value it carries.

"Looking for wives"
See; even these jihadi Monkeys have "Domestic tendencies" also.
Even they harbor ideas of being strong Family Men too!
Or just that their Hormones are over-powering their Dedication to the "Holy Cause"? ;)

Even when they are in middle of a war and cant guarantee a day of survival, they want to get married?

Cant you guess in what they are interested?

Or may be they already believe ki acche din aane wale hain. :D

To put it very simply: It is Power-Lust and Blood-Lust on display.
Apart from the other Lust that is also surfacing.

I did read somewhere that they are, at moment, taking an extra effort not to become villain to sunni civilians. There leaders are supposedly taking a cue from failed movements of past.

Though evil taking a break from evil can only be momentarily.

They are playing to the disgruntled Sunni population but at the same time executing anyone and everyone who has ever been in association with the Iraqi LEA. And then there's the factor that the dead seldom speak, once dead, everyone can be Shia and never protest.

Or they can attribute sunni killings to Iraqi army.

You will find so many buyers of this theory when a shia is at the helm of affairs in Iraq. Ask Zarvan.

What makes you even think that they even want to get married? :azn:
What they are looking for is "7 minutes" (according to Masters and Johnson's studies).
Now that may not be "acchey din", but could at least be considered "acchey pal" !

Where is the middle east heading towards ? A big black hole of anarchy I would say. If Iraq could fall so easily, which other country in that region is safe.

They are playing Sunni vs Shia card. Many Sunni tribes have even joined in. ISIS will eventually turn to them, of course but at the moment ISIS needs man power to hold the ground.

shock value, they do have. On a different note since ISIS has a continuous stream of revenue (with oil fields and all) while Iraqi Gov. has literally nothing and foreign governments cannot/will not sustain Iraqi gov. So ISIS can just sit back and watch as Iraqi gov. crumbles under its own weight, no?

So, you, Sir, are an extremist with a heart?

Of course, IF only the people of Mosul or Tikrit had just asked these fellows to leave, asked them VERY VERY nicely that is, this whole issue would have been resolved, after all they (the people) have a choice in all of this.o_O

Even in our country there are folks who are getting winded up to get going and submit themselves to a holy war, and we'll have to clamp down on them BUT the ISIS folks are going to be on the lookout for ventures with maximum ROI and well if it turns out that Zarvi might be able to attach his own cherished dreams like a frigging leach on to their rising star then what's the harm.

Not only the oil fields, if news reports are to be believed, they have over US$ 450 Million in currency and bullion taken from government repositories in the fallen cities. Besides that, there's also the stream of revenue flowing in from European Muslims sympathetic to the ISIS along with the ever popular oil sheikhs.

Sir you haven't read it and you are commenting on it please read it first Sir
Does that woman who wrote the article know this...

ISIS in Mosul Orders Unmarried Women to 'Jihad By Sex'

On June 12, only two day after capturing Mosul and other territories in Iraq, the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria issued a decree ordering the people to send their unmarried women to "jihad by sex."

Read it here....ISIS in Mosul Orders Unmarried Women to 'Jihad By Sex'

Now what do you say to this Zarvan? Is it par for the course for you? Is it acceptable what these animals are doing?
