In his statement Zardari was further reported to say that, “When approached regarding former president’s safe exit I had replied ‘I hope Pervez Musharraf will play golf’.”

We are in Pakistan where in any politics anything can happen, politics here is a business without any rules, if BB & Sharif can come together to come to Pakistan sign their so called 'charter of democracy', God knows where it is right now,If NRO can be implemented, to forget the all the thefts our politicians did, in the name of supreme national interest,If Sharif & Zardai Can form coalition government & then Zardai despite its promises in front of this nation deny to restore judges & then from no where he can restore judges & then PPP can deny impeachment of Mushi, so u still trust our government, our politicians & the statements they make, No one in this business of Politics is innocent in Pakistan...

PML-N moves privileged motion in NA

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) has moved a privileged motion in the National Assembly (NA) against the statement of President Asif Ali Zardari on giving the safe passage to the former president Pervez Musharraf.

The motion, signed by 91 MNAs, has been brought by Hanif Abbasi, Dr. Tariq Fazal and Anjum Aqeel, the NA Members of PML-N.

It may be recalled that opposition leader in NA, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had announced to move a motion against President Zardari the previous day and demanded Zardari to present all the aspects of the deal – regarding Pervez Musharraf – in front of the nation and Parliament.

Pakistan’s media is really expert in coining the self made stories. Some time ago I had come across a statement that AGP said that President has extended tenure of local body system and later he brushed a side this statement because it was self made story by Media. Now similar story was published at front pages that Zardari has confessed to be a part of deal for Musharraf’s exit. This jugglery of Media is not new for this nation.

Everyone was stunned at the statement because nation knows that PPP never strike a deal with a dictator whatever the situation was. Now everything is clear and no need to make fuss on it.

If politicians really started to stick to their words, promises or deeds, they would not be politicians now would they?
