So still there is no reply to what I asked apart from 1 who re-iterated what I said.

In your posts, one of you is showing me the poll, that has no effect on GHQ. One is saying that Army is at a war against its people, which is not the case. Another is giving gist of hybrid warfare through media and IT stand against Army which Army has mentioned as 5th gen warfare already and has taken measures to counter it, while I have been mentioning this since 2019. A dedicated department was made a decade ago or more and then on the cyber warfare capability was enhanced in the Army.

TTowers is trying to mention what I mentioned before, yes Army is from the public and the only thing which can hurt Army is recruiting process if public doesn't show up to become officers or soldiers in Army. This is what can hurt GHQ in next coming years or decades but even then automation or weaponry with more firepower will cater this issue to some extent. Army already knows that its 773 -strong infantry battalions (and Engineers Battalion) is the biggest unit it has while LAT,HAT, Armor, Artillery, AD, Signals, EME etc have around 400-500 troops, the missile units have even smaller number of troops in units. The problem can occur in CORO, where retired officers are called upon during war to undertake all desk jobs in HQs while able bodied soldiers are sent to front lines. If the recruitment process gets slow, this affects CORO too in coming years. Then the other contingency is that troops of paramilitary get accepted in regular forces to cater for numbers. Or Army shrinks a bit more in size while paramilitary swells up at a lesser salary. There have been threads already that military size should reduce, while troops should become more specialized in their tasks and that modern weaponry is ever more destructive than before which is how R&S battalions were envisioned in 60's to hold ground through less troops but massive firepower with 100% mobility. Serviceability and maintenance of drones is still easier than MBTs or fighter jets and the risk of loss of pilot is far lesser so this means lesser pilots and technicians than regular formations. Inflation has reached such a level that public will join Army for sake of getting a job and securing their future through house or plot or land that Army gives to its officers/troops on retirement, plus the pension. Army was one of the departments during COVID which was giving salary on regular basis when even some Government departments were not paying fully or delaying salaries.

Promotions, weaponry acquisition, any policy that Army makes for itself such increasing formations, making more posts for Generals, handing out 10 more plots to anyone - has no voice of public, no involvement of public and this will prevail.

ISPR will do what its supposed to do as a department, even if they make songs, its still not a necessity to give lollypop to the public, it will however maintain relations with media and public. It has to give its report to GHQ at the end of the day so let the lollypops continue. ISPR will keep giving its press releases and its productions will continue.
Because GHQ exists within a state structure not independent of it. The continued confrontation will/is leading to the continued shrinking of the relative available resource pool.

You shirked the rationale of the existence of ISPR or the recent need to “counter” 5 Gen warfare. We have to explore why the above to exist. This is a counter thesis to the point that GHQ doesn’t need the public.

If it didn’t it won’t spend time, effort and resources to sway their opinion or to counter the ones who are trying to do it.

Don't act so surprised, tell me why GHQ needs public support ? what for ?
First principal of any military operations is supply line and home ground

I am seriously very worried now about IQ level in military it seems it is now less then 50 ...I thought 70 Was the level

Your arguments don't work when someone has IQ level of less then 50.

The argument is if British could survive without support for 200 years and then had to leave why can't we survive for 100 years..

In every country the army serves the nation
In Pakistan the army serves itself. As you rightly put it allocating plots to themselves.

You had an answer that you wanted from the question you asked. Thinking men are lateral thinkers.

Bruh you good? GHQ is mere institution serving for the public. If public doesn't support it, what good is it.

Keep your boomer thinking to yourself, it ain't the 90s. Y'all fooling no one, GHQ is a cancer which needs to be removed or it's gonna be demise of our nation sooner or later.
GHQ boomers like jerking off thinking they been supported by China and the US.

The rentier mentality has been pioneered since the Ayub days (CEATO / SENTO), then waiting for the US 5th fleet that never came, then the channeling of $ for stingers (rest kept in the pockets of the few) then the Coalition Support Funds then the $ for drones and other multiple ad hoc payments. This is a continuation of that thinking.

So some pro military people fighting losing battle (argument) have gone through the phase of military has not lost support and it’s all just PTI propaganda, to people are being misguided military is doing the right thing, to military actually doesn’t even need public support.

This right here!

The military of any country needs support of its public. The establishment knows it and it is worried. Hence all this backlash resulting in kidnapping and torture.

Multiple Chiefs in the past have said it publicly the support of the public and the perception that it is the only organized institution is what gives the military its strength.

Doesn’t change the fact that anyone on PDF says otherwise. If any organ of the state loses public support, that organ needs to undergo drastic changes, if it doesn’t then nature forces change upon it.

The military takes up 50% of the budget. Its venture or any other brilliant business plans cannot substitute it. No matter what anyone says, the military will go broke even if there is a 30% budget cut, lets not even talk about other revenue streams. A futile argument at the very least.

Cuck mentality. Even India our biggest rival has an independent foreign policy.

This boomer thinking of polishing tattay of every big power out their is the result we still are "ghulam". Now some Patwari here gonna come here and tell how important foreign support is and how we gonna end without that support.

GHQ walay jafa likhte rahay or log wafa parhte rahay

In any case, if the public is not needed by GHQ, then GHQ is not needed by the public either. A good starting point would be to rename it to Army Headquarters, similar to the Air or Naval Headquarters.

The question is, is Gen X any better?😑

If GHQ doesn’t need public support why do they come up with songs every now and then? Or Sinf e Ahan topi drama for what?

To be consumed by their Corp commanders and officers?

The argument that an armed faction/institution exists outside public scrutiny and/or purview can be construed as occupation force.

Do they seriously want to be perceived as such?

Only those Generals are promoted to Thief of Army Staff who are cucks.
