Please do not show this to Indians.

Sorry for injecting this into all this but could not resist to make it more complicated.

Adam's Peak (Sinhalese: Sri Pada or "Sri Paadaya" (ශ්‍රී පාදය) and Samanalakanda, සමනළ කන්ද; Lit. "Butterfly Mountain"; Tamil: சிவனொளி பாதமலை, Sivanolipatha Malai; Arabic: Al-Rohun) is a 2,243 m (7,359 ft) tall conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada, i.e., "sacred footprint", a 1.8 m (5 ft 11 in) rock formation near the summit, which in Buddhist tradition is held to be the footprint of the Buddha, in Hindu tradition that of Shiva and in Islamic and Christian tradition that of Adam, or that of St. Thomas.[1][2]

Do you have comprehension problems Mr. Lhanda? I said large, not largest. The whole of Jammu and Kashmir, punjab and parts of haryana, rajasthan and Gujarat lie in the Indus basin and constitute a substantial portion of it. This region is almost as big as pakistan and perhaps bigger.
WTF is Dravidia? Now who's changing geography?
Its a fact that more ivc sites have been found in india than elsewhere. Read some neutral stuff instead of biased bs

Continue to believe in your Bollywood tales. What an identity crisis. You people can't even decide whether the Taj Mahal should be your national symbol LOL Let’s not get into the Indus debate.

Indians dislike your facts because Christopher Columbus was look8ng for India. A country named India, according to today’s Indians. So with that logic, India existed as a country prior to British arrival. Therwise, how could Columbus be lookingfor them.
Well, you can thank your lucky stars Ganga did not name itself "Asia" in 1947. If they had they could have leveraged "Asia" to take proprierty rights over entire Asia by using the name argument. The fact was "India" in history was used as a geographic term like Balkans, Scandanavia, Iberia or even Europe/Asia etc.

If Timor-Leste had named itself "Asia" on winning independance in 2002 all of Asia would have been in trouble. They would have used the name "Asia" to claim the entire history/heritage of Asia since time began.

There is no name in history as India. Before the Muslims Invaded subcontinent the land was ruled by small states and among them the biggest and strongest was Utter Perdash.

India didnt just take up the name. Its the successor state of British India and Mughal India before that. India had already joined UN in 1945 and when it got independence, got the UN memebership by default oqing to its being considered thw successor to british india. Whereas pakistan had to apply for fresh membership; clearly shows that pakistan was carved out of India and India just changed the form of govt.

The term India has been used for at least 2 millenia. In local languages India was known as Bharat or Bharatvarsha. There is even a verse in rigveda that defines Bharat's boundaries which correspond to borders of British Indian empire. India has always been considered a cultural and civilizational entity just like china or arabia.

Look Sunny Before Muslims came to India you were ruled by Pawar Rajputs in the north and small Nawabs and Maharajas in the whole subcontinent. There was no so called India. India is a British name it has nothing to do with Subcontinent. In the British records of colonies that were located on the tropic of cancer the people of that belt were known as Indians.

Pakistan is an acronym that already has Sindh (real India) in it. Your country's name is a mistake, just like Indonesia and West Indies. You have nothing to do with most of Indus.

Well , Indus basin and the surrounding areas used to be historically called ‘India’ and Greek general Alexander the great was satisfied when he had reached there. The Ganges basin is not part of the historical India. Basically, inhabitants of the Indus basin and surrounding areas were called ‘Indian’.

Whatever you do please do not show this news clip from 1947 to Indian's or they will get a cardiac arrest when they see that they were "born" in August 1947.

How does this reconcile with the oft repeated Pakistani narrative on this very forum that 'We Broke Your Country in 1947 by carving out Pakistan!!!1111oneoneone'

Actually if you believe 1947 to be the brith year of both the countries then Pakistan actually came into existence one full day before India. How can you break something which was not even there!

Even different parts of china were ruled by different rulers like han, manchu and mongol but the land was still china.
Lol so india has nothing to do with subcontinent. India was called Inde, Indos, Hind, Indu etc in different languages. Arrian and megasthenes both wrote books named Indica and Indika respectively on ancient india and its culture more than two thousand years ago ; even before budha and jesus.
The word India means People with half brains it was used by Britishers for Subcontinent as Indians and it was used by British for Americans as Red Indians. British considered Africans as totally brains less so they were not called Indians. Now don't insult your self by calling your self as Indians and move on.

Waste of time in convincing indians. I add rather smoke a cigarette than engage with any Indian on this forum for any meaningful dialogue. They are closed minded people.

A large part of Indus basin lies in territory controlled by India. Also there are more IVC sites in India than in Pakistan.
Mehrgarh which is proto IVC lies entirely in conterminous Pakistan, it seems even those IVC sites in India are due to migration from West to East not other way around! NB though nothing in the damn filth ridden Ganga.

I don't get the Indian desperation to claim the legacy of another country's civilization.

That would be like Australia or Poland claiming the legacy of Jerusalem because they are now Christians.
Very well said Sir.Kudos

Your holy book is filled with such scientific fallacies and idiocies. You should read it in your mother tongue once
No it does not, you have clearly misunderstood this bogus argument by evangelical charlatans.

Is that what your religion teaches you? If you can't respond with facts, start insulting. In the contemporary world paaki is considered a gaali and is synonymous with terrorist. Even pakistanis in western countries are ashamed of being called pakistani and pretend to be Indians.
Sorry to hurt your feelings but I am not insulting you. Indians is a British word and nothing more.

You started with the word India made it indo them you went to the word hindu. but you are wrong.

The word Hindustan is not even a subcontinent word. It is a Muslim word my friend and I can prove it.

The subcontinent word is the only word Hind and nothing more. When ever the word comes "stan" it means country and is a Muslim language word just like India is a British word. The best way to track a civilization is through language.

The word Hind does not represent any cast nation or civilization it is a word for an Ocean.

There is a subcontinent word for the country and its called Bharat. 'Hind' is more or less a Persian pronunciation for word 'Hindu'.
