China opens door for medical services for Bangladesh citizens

LOL, India is the country that has the most people, especially children die from contagious diseases, your life expectancy is among the lowest in the world, check the WHO data base and see where India lies, your hospitals look like from a century ago and you are bragging that Indians enjoy better medical treatments than Chinese, shamelessness knows no boundaries.

Medical Tourism In India Blooms Despite India-China Tensions

Tensions between India-China along the border are not the only thing on the rise; Medical Tourism in India has also increased significantly with a large number of Chinese patients. But why is Medical Tourism in India famous amongst Chinese citizens? Will this have any positive impact between India-China relations?

A growing number of Chinese citizens are now looking at India for cost-effective medical treatments. Known for the best doctors in the world, and many equipped hospitals in India offering medical treatments to overseas patients, medical tourism in India is experiencing an all-time surge.

The Story of a Chinese Patient who Benefitted from Medical Tourism In India
An article in the Global Times, a Chinese daily, spoke of a Chinese patient who was infected with HCV, fourteen years ago, during a blood transfusion procedure. The treatment available in China was ineffective thus leaving the patient with no option but to seek help from other nations. The daily reported that the patient then took help from a company that was helping patients from third and fourth tier cities of China to seek medical help from other nations, including India. Already in a nearly critical stage of liver fibrosis, the patient received top class treatment in New Delhi, and the symptoms then vanished in just four weeks.

What’s even more astonishing is the fact that she was prescribed medicines by the Indian doctors that were not yet available in China. Speaking highly of the Indian medical facilities and hospitals in India, the patient said the hospitals were more like hotels unlike the overcrowded medical facilities in China. She added that the cleanliness and professionalism of hospitals in India are impressive. This is just one of the many incidents and stories that reflect highly on the growth of medical tourism in India."

I don't know if the Chinese medical treatment is better than India's or not but I can tell with confidence that India's medical treatment is world class. And I am not even Indian, I took treatment in India as a Bangladeshi.

Sorry, I don't know the data - how many Indian students study medical technology in China every year?

I don't know if the Chinese medical treatment is better than India's or not but I can tell with confidence that India's medical treatment is world class. And I am not even Indian, I took treatment in India as a Bangladeshi.
I don't say that China's medical technology is more advanced than India's.

You talk about your personal experience. I also talk about my personal experience.

I live in a Chinese small city. Area: 500 sq km. Population: 500,000.

This is a public hospital in our city.

"Students with Medical Degree from UAE & Bangladesh perform the best
Of those countries with more than 100 test takers between 2012-13 and 2016-17, candidates with medical degree from UAE performed the best with a pass percentage of 36.3% followed by those from Bangladesh (27.7%), Georgia (18.7%), Philippines (18.6%) and Nepal (17.7%) in that order. Though China & Russia account for the greatest number of FMGE takers, only 14.5% candidates with a medical degree from China and only 14.7% candidates with a degree from Russia passed the screening test.
FMGE-Country-wise-Pass-.png

Foreign Medical Education Standards
The pass percentage of only 16% is indicative of poor standards of medical education in some of these countries. Students are often lured because of the lower fee and a guaranteed seat. Though the government has issued certain guidelines, the number of students pursuing medical education abroad hasn’t gone down."

So get a cheap medical degree from China and you fail the accreditation test in India.
You guys are delusional. Even your Pakistani friends make fun of Chinese quality in their local TV programs. Who would trust their lives to Chinese doctors except the most desperate?

But I want to know is how many Indian students study medical technology in China?
You talk about quality of life. I'm sorry... is life expectancy in India now at North Korea's level?

@Nilgiri can you save him? He's crazy now.

He is being silly. Chinese tourists that come to India are not because they are lacking facilities in China...but certain treatments are cheaper and more cost effective in India:

http://www.globaltimes.cn/content/1063486.shtml

It is unnecessary for @beijingwalker to post another silly post to respond though. India just rolled out a big health insurance scheme that will go long way in addressing lingering issues in healthcare among the poor.

Do you know what is world class? and China's healthy life expectancy is higher than US, do you believe that Chinese are born live much longer than Indians?

India ranks 145 of 195 countries in healthcare access and quality
India lags behind China (48), Sri Lanka (71), Bangladesh ( 133) and Bhutan (134) while its health index was better than Nepal (149), Pakistan (154) and Afghanistan (191).

I'm quite sure. Our treatment is not expensive.

Your English is poor. I will explain again.
A Indian medical student has double the chance of clearing our medical accreditation exam if he studied in Bangladesh rather than China. Number of students is immaterial if the teachng is poor in China. This is medicine no one takes a risk with his life. See how Inspite of hating Hindus every year thousands of pakistanis apply for medical visas to India.

Oh, thank you. So why do Indian students come to China to study medical technology?

Listen here spammer,

Firstly people that measure healthcare metrics are not the same set of people across the world. There is institutional variance at play (dont believe me? look at North Korea and Cuba claims).

Secondly, the medical facilities offered at tourist/premier level is not going to be the same as the average sustained quality/access for the entire population (since tourists are visiting for specific reason and have specific bargaining power). Thats true of every single country.

Only a complete idiot would think a large "healthcare access and quality" ranking (measured by different sets of people for each country) has 1:1 correlation for a medical tourist (who can pick and choose as their money allows) to go by.

I know it burns you that Chinese tourists do visit India (as reported by Global times) for medical treatment. If they can...why can't Bangladeshis do the same? It burns you even more that a Bangladeshi member has a favourable account of Indian hospital I bet too. Keep your doklam spanked butthurt to your China Far East CCP section....ok?

@T-Rex

Fail to get admission in Indian universities and China is also cheap. Previously Russia was cheaper. But Russian medical graduates also have a poor reputation in India.

Ok please sue global times for producing a fake news story.

Because they are reporting Chinese people ARE visiting indian hospitals right now.

You can read the article to see the reasons why, incl availability of generic label drugs for certain treatments (which China does not allow).

Indian education costs are very expensive? and the quality of its education is very good?

But why I don't see the Indian medical level has been improved?

Sorry, I don't watch the official news. My information source is UC browser.
We all know that CCP has been trying to convince us that India's medical technology has greatly improved.
But according to Taiwan News... India's medical situation is very bad(Video screenshots can be provided).
Who should I believe?

It's true that some Chinese go to US, Europe maybe even India to try different treatment for luck, many go to Hong Kong for some medical treatments which are banned in mainland China, it only shows now people have more money to travel around the world to try different alternatives, US has the best medical facilities but every year many Americans travel to different countries including China for cost effective treatments, that only shows the patients have money to do so , they can have the luxury of more international choices which Indians don't.

WHO data shows that China is 100 spots ahead of Inda in health care rankings, so the two countries are not even comparable, better choose someone around similar rankings as yours.
