If you are looking for a serious answer, India is the only country in South Asia that has any possibility of becoming a "superpower." Already its giant economy makes it the only country in South Asia with any sort of global influence.

Oh and btw, India has uplifted more people out of poverty than any country with the exception of China. Although obviously, there is still a long way to go.

Just curious, what makes you hate India so much? I have never met an American with any negative perception of India as strong as yours.

Well you sure make it seem like you do. Can you not at least aknowledge the progress India has made? 30 years ago, over 50 percent of India lived below the poverty line. Now that number is below 25 percent. In 1947, India's illiteracy was 70 percent. Now almost 75 percent of the population is literate. And as of 2019, 90 percent of rural India has access to sanitation.

Obviously, things are far from perfect. Yes India does have a lot of filth and chaos. And the filth and chaos of India is magnified by India's giant population. But you do realize there are places other than India that have filth and chaos? With all due respect, the fact that all you do on this forum is post these types of threads sure makes it seem you have an unhealthy hatred of India.
