Moment Of Truth :---

If you remember how PAF performed in 1965 and what was the kill ratio ,then you should realize with less fighter jets that numbers difference can be closed. Its the quality not the quantity and man behind the machine matters.
By your logic all the arab nations could have won the war against Israel in 1967.

Youngman,

It is my love for you guys that I write---. Otherwise who would in their sane minds would make the powers to be mad---.

It is a numbers game---. Quality is also prone to attrition---. There is only a certain percentage of enemy aircraft & pilots you will take out and losing an X number of your aircrafts and pilots---.

The problem with you kids and adults is that you want to die fighting like TIPU SULTAN---.

But what I am trying to tell you is fight like Mahmud Ghaznavi---fight like Babur---fight like Abdali.

We pakistanis have no blood relation with the great warrior Sultan Tipu other than he was a muslim---but we have blood relation with Ghaznavi---with Babur---with Abdali---these were our fore fathers---they did not come to die fighting---they came to kill and win---.

Always remember---it is not the Size of the dog that fights---it is the FIGHT in the dog that matters---.

Hi,

The indian take over of kashmir has finally let the cat out of the bag---.

And the cat says that the Paf has been caught with its pants down and may end up letting the nation and people of kashmir down---.

The Paf is woefully short of frontline fighter aircraft by a number of 100-150 aircraft---. The reason being that the Paf did not believe that there would be a war with india---.

Paf intentionally kept the numbers down over the last 3 1/2 decades for the reason that with a full inventory---pak army would have waged a war and the Paf---self serving organization that it is---does not want to fight a war---.

Every opportunity that the Paf had of getting the aircraft was short listed and an excuse found not to get the aircraft in a timely manner---. Every opportunity was availed to stretch the purchase option till the line stretched so thin that it broke---.

Never ever was there any URGENCY shown on the behalf of the Paf to get the aircraft on urgent basis---.

Totally agree with the writer. I dont understand why Pakistan army didnt get j10c medium weight fighter jets they would have been a huge boost for the airforce along with jf17 light weight combo also i dont get the strategy of Pakistan and Imran Khan what was the point of insisting for Kashmir meditation when there was not even a reason to meditate about? I feel Pakistan really lacks a strategy tho i respect Imran Khan as a leader over others

I do NOT. Mr. keisler love Pakistan, this one is always looking for things to complain about in the PAF. even says dreadful things about long since dead Heroes of PAF (and army)
I am extremely intrigued by Mr Keisler. He knows more about Pakistan than me! I am almost suspicious about him. He’s a perfect candidate for a spy. Nevertheless very soothing listening to him talk.

Hi,

In the 1965 war---we had the best aircraft of its time the F86 that was in the arena between indian and pakistan---.

Then on top of that we were trained by the best air force of the world the USAF---and we took the training to heart and showed what we could do---,

The F86 with its computerzied gub sights and the sidewinder aa missile was a deadliest aircraft in the region---.

It is not only the pilot's skills---but what the aircraft has to offer you that makes it work to your advantage---.

In the 71 war---the % of kills had narrowed because the enemy got their pilots trained as well---.

Now in this modern world of electronic warfare---with an extremely high kill ratio air to air missiles and SA missiles---you cannot rely on less than 50% front line aircraft to the enemy's aircraft.

As for the arab israeli war---the israelis had far superior aircraft---and better trained pilots and no my uncle is a general and that is why I am the commander jobs---.

Every war the israelis had to fight---they had the ocean behind them to drown in if they lost---it was a war for their very existence and the future of their coming generations---,

Arabs had no problems---they had land behind them---so what if they lost---they had nothing to lose except some dignity and some real estate---.

Dear Friend

I will sound like a broken record. It goes back to the basics of building the right insititutes to let them do their jobs; engineering excellent pods or centers; after 70 years of independence, is it not a shame that you cannot produce local aluminium or various forms of high tensile steel alloys. There needs to be a foundation laid for everything else to built on top. I give Nehru credit for having had that foresight in the 50's to lay that down both in terms of education as well and industries. Where is that vision here? Squandered long ago and transplanted by quasi mullah based doctrine and laissez a faire attitude.
Truth hurts but it must be reflected upon. Iqbal in his infinite great wisdom says - poets dream of countries and politicians destroy them. Same can be taken one step forward great leaders lay the foundation of future vision.

Hi,

Actually we had and we were headed that way---. In the late 60's the chinese would look at our industry base---.

The Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto happened to pakistan---. He sabotaged the education system and the industry of pakistan by NATIONALIZING them and kicked the owners out---basically confiscating private schools and colleges that were giving UK standard education in their schools and colleges of that time---.

Also---you did not have green cards and education and jobs for their children abroad---. You did not have any cushy jobs for them either.

A vist visa to south africa was not the same as a visit visa to USA / Italy / France / UK china etc etc etc---.

Agree. We are 150 planes short.
Not having adequate Airforce with enemy like India in today's world is a crime.
We could have managed many more planes in last 5 years when everybody foresaw a conflict with India where few of us just drooled uncontrollably at having tactical nukes and NASR.

Even J10s were a good buy if no other were available.

In a limited conflict like Feb 27 PAF will excel but in all out conflict PAF will feel the heat.

500millions$ were that time in our pocket only

At least we had "plus 500 million$" in our treasury 1999, do you know what is situation now in 2019 we are effectively MINUS 20 or 30 billion $ in our treasury and that has been the case for last many years and the very reason Pakistan has been begging to every tom dick and harry country and international financial institutions. All our so-called billions of dollars in the foreign reserves are NOT ours but others money, whereas those 500 million $ in 1999 was our own money.

Hi,

If you agree---please find a way to spread this message of mine around---all over pakistan---.

We are not here to die Like our Sultan Tipu---.

We are the sons of the soil that has seen the likes of Ghaznavi---Abdali---Ghauri---. We live to conquer---.

PAF is short of 100/150 fighters but its not PAF that is at fault it is the people of Pakistan who refuse to pay their share of taxes and its the past corrupt governments that not only failed to bring general public under the tax net but also looted whatever little the few tax-payers contributed.

The shortage part is not only applicable to PAF but to PA and PN too.

Do you have any evidence to back up to your findings? Because if not, then its just a Conspiracy fabricated...
Every opportunity that the Paf had of getting the aircraft was short listed and an excuse found not to get the aircraft in a timely manner---. Every opportunity was availed to stretch the purchase option till the line stretched so thin that it broke---.
...and just out of curiosity...which opportunities/options were laid out for the PAF that we turned down (with the exception of the J-10's (opting with the JF-17).

I can't recall...
...France offering us the Mirages in the 90's or Rafales in recent times.
...SAAB offering the Gripen.
...EU offering us the Typhoon.

Bottom line, its no secret that you have something against the Pakistan Air Force - that much is clear. If we were to prove that the PAF actually shot down 6-8 IAF jets on the 26th of Feb, you'd still find a way play down the kills.

Frankly..., I think just out of boredom you post these Topics to get a rise out of...(what do you refer to them as)...'Pakistani kids' and 'fanboys'.

Some may think of you as a...hero. I respect their opinion.

But if your views were (ever) shared with the Military...they'd label you as a 'joke'.

Hi,

They may consider me a joke---that is not a problem.

But they played a terrible JOKE on the country---.

The moment of truth has arrived---and if it was not for the air force---india would not have taken the steps it did ---.
