for india

this is the first internet image showing J-10 in Xizang.

Looks like this airfield is at some secret place well away from the settled areas.

Neither the google earth nor the other type of maps ,nothing helping me to get a glimpse of them.:D

Judging form the J-10 Hangars that I've seen so far they are not 100% light proof. I think they would need to put the covers on even if they are placed in hangars.

I seriously think PLAAF should work on developing high standard AC hangars as well cuz AFAIAssume, the removal of cover process would certainly add to the response time of AC so having hangers will certainly help in increasing readiness and reducing response time of PLAAF.

The cover, according to Chinese BBS, was supposed to protect the planes from high levels of ultraviolet rays in Tibet. Excessive radiation could weaken the titanium and cause the rubber wheels to weaken.

J-10 has titanium? Why would China use Titanium for a workhorse fighter produced enmasse?

As for rubbers, you are right. Rubbers are to be kept in cold and dark place lest accidents happen ;)

Good,now u have deployed them,Start attacking,why waiting,Start surgical strikes...
But wait a minute,Su-30Mki is stationed near u r borders,
china's frontline fighter is Su-30MKK (One can know why J-10 is not China's frontline fighter),And Mki is the superior to any Sukhoi deployed in the world,Do u think J-10 will work against Su-30MKI???
And only 2 J-10,Better place some 200 j-10 for ur security...

..that was funny indeed...titanium alloys have very high tensile strength and toughness (even at extreme temperatures), light weight, extraordinary corrosion resistance, and ability to withstand extreme temperatures. why would not CAC be inclined towards this.....here help yourself
Titanium Alloys for Aeroengine and Airframe Applications

As they are building these in good numbers, they had to deploy them everywhere. We have also deployed our front line assets near Chinese border. Its a normal procedure.

for India?

U r so called dragon cannot even face sun rays, and u want to pit it against India:lol:

we are not dragons, we are normal average people.

the differences are we work harder, we talk less and we are in general more honest.
