Indian Brahmos missle crashes in Mian Channo

Are you in a position of authority, in the government, or in the armed forces of your country?

What gives you the confidence that you know everything that goes on? Were you aware, for instance, that a terrorist was hiding next to your military academy?

Please try to make sensible arguments.

Please send them a postcard saying that you have decided that they should not have possession of sophisticated arms.

What does that have to do with position of authority ? If a plane crashes or missile is struck where it shouldn't it cannot be hidden in this age. Everyone has a damn cellphone through which they post. Even the Kashmiris who don't have internet half of the time posted videos of crispy well done bodies of the men in that helicopter crash. Wake up !!!! This is not godi media in this forum where this kind bs could work. We actually think for ourselves.

I am really curious what kind of reality Indians have created for themselves ?
A reasonable one. One that keeps our neighbours on their toes, and relieves pressure from their continuing "unknown" actions against India

Even the body of people lost in plane battles have not been located. What makes you believe that Pakistan is so transparent a country that everything is known to everybody? We already know that only that is shown that is convenient to be shown. I can multiply examples of this clandestine activity without a break.

If you read through this thread, you will see the quality of the thinking.

So you agree you live in a reasonable reality but not an actual one. Thanks for proving my point.

And regarding keeping us on our toes. You are 7 times larger in area, people and probably economy. You have 5 to 6 times more budget for your armed forces. If all you can do is just keep us on our toes then what can I say ......

This is the fearful part.

What you have argued might or might not have merit in it. On an open forum, that is policed, I will not take a stand.
I appreciate your candor & I understand your position.

Guys, I humbly request that you stop arguing with Joe Shearer. He is not GOI representative here. He is a patriotic Indian citizen, just as concerned about the current state of affairs as we ourselves are. Thank you.

Because it wasnt an accident . Simple .

Hum sab yahan achi trah ye baat jantey hain bass manna koi ni cha raha.
Pakistan should consider signaling that it is put some of its nuclear forces on alert (mating warheads to missiles) to send a message to the international community that this was a serious incident.

Other countries strategic forces go on alert when these kinds of incidents happen to signal resolve, Pakistan should do the same, IMHO.

Not concerned.

Worried as hell.

They have medication for that these days ... brings you right back into reality.

Anyways we are going off topic so lets keep your philosophical ideations to a minimum.
Ideation?

Wow. All is lost. I am up against a wordsmith!

Did a unit go rogue ??
Pakistan should make a movie depicting rogue Indian military units with nuclear weapons threatening the security of the world by trying to trigger an incident to show that it really is possible.

Something like the story of Russian Submarine officer Vasili Arkhipov, who prevented his sub from launching a nuclear torpedo against US forces during the Cuban missile Crisis

Indeed is ...

All pakistani SOPs now will need to be revamped to cater for this....
And perhaps we need more long range high powered EO/IR sensors along the border to better visually identify targets picked up on radar.

I read his tweet, he does say "immediate", so contact may have been directly after the incident or towards the end?

This is the starting tweet of NSA: "It has taken more than 2 days for India to accept that this was their missile launched ostensibly due to a technical malfunction during maintenance."

What does it imply?

Can you point towards the time slot during the ISPR briefing where it was mentioned? It's a long video

Listen to it again. Whole of the DG(ISPR) Briefing unambiguously and clearly implies that India has not made any contact or connection with Pakistan, at least, till that time.

I find it hard to believe everything is going this calm, if India just simply kept quiet...

I, also. But, that seems to be the case. And it is not the first time. Even news about Balakot Strike started appearing on India Media, well after, our DG(ISPR) tweet surfaced. Before that there was a complete mum.

Are you a member of the Indian military or government or in a position of authority in the Indian state?

Last time there was an unidentified contact, a spice air jet if I’m not mistaken, the PAF was professional enough to scramble and visually identify the plane before doing anything. With supersonic missiles, due to the short flight times, it’s possible the next unidentified aerial vehicle could be shot down, with loss of many civilian lives. But perhaps that is what some rogue elements within the India establishment want.
