What's new

China's 28nm DUV lithography machine was delivered in 2021

First you got busted by bragging about the processor, and now you gonna do again by bragging about the DRAM/NAND.

We Chinese simply love to be the myth buster and make our enemy crying a river. :enjoy:
You busted nothing. I never claimed that Intel have any commercially available product at sub 10 nodes. I just said that Intel can go down to that level. You have a reading comprehension problem.

Nevertheless, how soon will China's 7nm node be profitable?

Small fry? Are these true?

Tens of billions of dollars gone, but to you, it is 'small fry'. But hey, cheating from foreigners must have gotten harder and harder.

Tens of billions of CNY is nothing compared with trillions of dollars (Iraq and Afghanistan).
Americans should get used to China's financial strength as soon as possible, if not stronger.

BTW: In fact, Tsinghua Ziguang group has already repaid the tens of billions of debts.

If it is not profitable, then why it is found all over the bitcoin miners?

You should ask why that Intel has now tried with all kind of excuses to not open any new plant in the US.

Why? Because the Made in USA chips are not profitable anymore.

couldn't have done it without the helps of our comrades, especially comrade jianguo :enjoy:

Yes, Intel can even made 2nm chips but they are just humble and purposely not to do it.

Nice self comforting. :enjoy:

The boss of Intel hates to see those East Asian countries dominating the semiconductor fab.

Too bad his country is filled with illiterate rednecks and young spoiled white brats who refuse to study in STEM.

So they have to hire more PPT-making engineers from the shupa powa India. :cheesy:

What I know is even 90 nm lithography indigenization is very problematic. 28 nm, I think 2026 is over optimistic. I expect after 2026 if western companies agress to sell China critical components. 7nm not before 2040.

Too many non STEMI students in PDF.

This is just a deceptive article to try fool the Taiwanese and western.

Liang MongSoo last year claim SMIC shall not go for high end up and concentrate on 28nm chips for mass protection for being practical. The American will let off guard after knowing this announcement.

and we know he secretly made 7nm chips with N+2 techniques last year , only to be discovered in 2022 July... There is already many indication, China localization of 28nm DUV is a success.

Pay attention to the time of the link you sent. It says that China will not complete 28nm until 2021. Obviously, this is misleading, and we now know the answer.

I am not getting any positive official news and no news on 28nm since 2021 when 28m lithography delivery is big failure.

All the positive news today are likely fake and speculations and without official backings.

I know many people here love China, but one should not be overly optimistic.
