Vertical cliff started in early 2022. My hypothesis (entirely pure speculation): Bond market realized that with end of Afghan action in August 2021 and Taliban takeover, there won't be any hard currency inflows to the region. And the region has never shown any possibility of financial stability without transfer payments for a couple of generations now. So, this is not IK's ouster due to VONC

It will take time but the people of Pakistan trust him and Pakistan’s closest friends believe in his integrity. The current government is a shambles.
