90% of water comes from Gangotari Glacier well with in India

how about the remaining 10%..there is two tributary rivers (Ghaghara and Kosi) from China across Nepal then merge with Ganges...are they not important contribution to your Indian water pool?

Dig great canal is not rocket science...we have done it during sui dynasty...with nowaday technologies such construction machines and satellite mapping..it will be a peace of cake to divert water from Jammu and route to Paksitan, we will pay a political price for canal: 1 stone 2 birds, you Indian will not be able to black mail Pakistan at the same time we can black mail your Jammu people or better we will sell this water supposely flow across Jammu for free.

As for Brahmaputra, we certainly know how to divert it but we do take consideration of our Bangladesh Friends...that will not prevent us to squeeze time to time the valve to let those Indians in Arunachal Pradesh to show some respect toward the mighty evil dragon .

Well friend, if this is not a big deal for you, then do it. But i advise you to dig canals for the North South water project first rather than digging Indus or Brahmaputra. .What happened to that project. It wasnt a difficult terrain, they were just plains. Did
not the advance technology work in those plains. How many decades have that project taken??

Friend i seriously advise you to ask your government to do that. It would be a learning experience for all of us. Divert those rivers.Lets see the costs and the time.

again these contributory small rivers matter more to Nepal.. as you can see from the map... Ganga already traveled thousand of KMS before taking water from these contributory .. these contributory are one of the main reason for floods in Bihar .. it will be great help if you build a DAM in 7000 meter altitude in Greater Himalays spending 100 of billions of Dollar to stop flooding ..
