Myths about the Urdu language

Ask a historian which claims that Hinduism fathers all world religions and that Sanskrit fathers all world languages and historians which claim Indians fathers the whole world? Are these eminent historians based in Bangalore or what? :disagree:

To know the answer, why don't you WIKI(seems to be the source and limit of all your knowledge) the name of the Historian......

^^^^Ha Ha Ha......lessons learnt??

Always be prepared before taking on Indians......and never give twisted facts.....you would be busted sooner than you think...........

You know why? Because Bangalis inherited one of the purest descendents of Sanskrit, and we didn't want to give it up for anything!

It looks much more beautiful than Urdu, no? :flame: (btw, Urdu didn't exist when this text was written)

By adopting Urdu as national language we didn't gave up our mother tongues. Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashtoo etc. didn't disappear from our land. Your claim is stupid.

In Indian Punjab, all government documents and court language including High court at Chandigarh uses Punjabi language and they didn't kill the use of their ancestral language for the sake of the country's official language. That thing never happened in Pakistan, only Sindhis never abandoned their language.

Govt. documents and court language is not the only mean to show love, If they love their language than it can survive without being language of court or govt. documents.

And there is reason you call it mother tongue not father tongue

maybe to you but to me Urdu looks more beautiful then Bengali

on topic yes Urdu originated in north India
& its one of the national languages of India along with that it is also the national language of Pakistan so its a shared language of both India & Pakistan

Indians are proud of their native culture, languages, religions & its perfectly fine & one should respect that
likewise Pakistanis are proud of their Persian, central Asian & Arabic cultural & religious influence along with its Islamic heritage & its perfectly fine & one should respect that
so whats the problem here ?

Yes, that's the way to show love but do you guys study Punjabi as a language in your school to have a glimpse of the the literary and poetic heritage left by your ancestors.

Com'n dude you didn't get the point of word "Mother tongue", At the age when a kid goes to school he/she already knows and can understand "Mother Tongue" if she is interested to teach. You don't join school, goes to courts or start reading govt. documents or poetry as soon as your born.

And bold Part shows that you don't have any knowledge about Pakistani Punjab and it's culture.

Bengali language is beautiful to you more than any other languages, not because it is really more melodious than French or more advanced than German or English, but because it is your very own, it is your pride and your identity, and these reasons count more than any thing else. If your intellectuals like Rabindranath Tagore had chosen to pen down his thoughts in any other language then Bengali, just as their intellectuals like Iqbal did, then your language would not be enjoying the same status in your own eyes. It is a matter of pride and identity and unfortunately not all people have been bestowed upon these qualities by mother nature.

Bwahaha. Ok Hindian. Tell my if you can understand this Poem in urdu.

Many Pakistanis and even less Indians cannot speak Urdu in it's pure form.

Dude where is "Shikwa" and "Jawab-e-Shikwa" by Allama Iqbal? i cant even understand that lol.

urdu is not a compulsory language in India . almost all muslims and many non-muslims can write it though .

Even if many non-muslims cant write it , it does not change the fact that it originated in North India .

bs thats not what it says in the article, you indians change your mind too fast.
