Now, tell me which first tier Indian city can hold a candle to these second and third tier cities.

You fail to see what I'm getting at.

One after another, inner city neighborhoods of pre-1949 origin and work-unit compounds built in the socialist period are being torn apart, giving way to glossy office towers and luxurious condominiums meant for the rich and the corrupt. Since there is no democracy in China, it is a classic case of a militaristic, autocratic state acting against the welfare of its own people by the use of force, throwing them out of their homes and grabbing their lands by force and intimidation for constructing fancy housing projects meant for the rich. The bottom line: the Chinese Govt has no respect for the majority of the ordinary Chinese people! Period!
