Now when everyone knows there reality, I have one question for Shatterpoint.

Because I know this is bull$hit.. advise you to know shoot some random statements like this on serious issues.

Dnt show them truth .... they cant handle

I am yet going easy on them for some reason..

NICE! Pakistans stats are based on 2002 estimates and 1998 ISLAMABAD census

Believe me the current data would be much more worse that's why the current data is not updated on the official site..

Pakistani's talking about women rights? funny have you people ever seeing national geographic ,discovery or BBC channels?

he land of former Prime Minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi is killing its daughters by the millions. Economically resurgent India is witnessing a rapid unfolding of a female genocide in the making across all castes and classes, including the upper caste rich and the educated. The situation is particularly alarming among upper-caste Hindus in some of the urban areas of Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, specially in parts of Punjab, where there are only 300 girls for every 1,000 boys, according to Laura Turquet, ActionAid's women's rights policy official.

Haq's Musings: Female Genocide Unfolding in India

Indians here has done numerous way to reverse attention from UN infant girls to Pakistan in order to cover their embarrassments and shames.

Guys, Shatterpoint want to know more about Infant girls in India. How guarantee he could bring their daughters to India if raped, God forbid. :disagree:

Indian is 1.07, Pakistani is 1.06.

Pakistan --> 1.08

Govt Source --> Welcome to Women Development Department

108.5/100 as per the source below

http://www.scribd.com/doc/26848899/The-Idea-of-Pakistan

The data I provided for Pakistan is from Pakistan govt's sites. Now make up your minds who will have the correct numbers Pakistani govt or CIA Factbook..

Unless Pakistanis consider that their govt is useless and can't do census properly and needs CIA to do census as well..

Haq's Musings: Female Genocide Unfolding in India

I did a math -2011 Indian birth rate is 21 per 1000 which would translate to roughly 23 million children born per year and if the split between boys and girls is say 11.5, either 5.5 million girls are killed or 7 million girls are killed(considering the boys make up 2/3 of the 23 million children and girls 1/3 as the other girls are killed).

Shatterpoint - don't you think the nos sound ridiculous? and for a democratic country like India - won't the international agencies and the press have a field day?

Yeah the numbers do sound a bit ridiculous, but the UN and the WHO are also looking into this, for the UN to release such a damning report means that this is very prevalent in India, not sure if India and its citizens are taking this seriously, I mean if the educated and elite of India are doing this themselves, it's pretty damning on Indian society as a whole.

Don't worry, Let him post CIA factbook 2005's data but I have given stats right from Pakistani govt sites..

Look at at-birth ratios...not overall population to see what's going with new-borns.

The at-birth male-female ratios in Pakistan are comparable to most of the rest of the world, including the West, but the Indian ratios are the worst in the world. In spite of China's one child policy, the ratios in China are better than India's.

India at birth: 1.12 male(s)/female
under 15 years: 1.1 male(s)/female
15-64 years: 1.06 male(s)/female
65 years and over: 0.9 male(s)/female

China at birth: 1.1 male(s)/female

15-64 years: 1.06 male(s)/female
65 years and over: 0.91 male(s)/female
total population: 1.06 male(s)/female (2009 est.)

Pakistan at birth: 1.05 male(s)/female
under 15 years: 1.06 male(s)/female
15-64 years: 1.05 male(s)/female
65 years and over: 0.88 male(s)/female
total population: 1.04 male(s)/female (2009 est.)

United Kingdom
at birth: 1.05 male(s)/female
under 15 years: 1.05 male(s)/female
15-64 years: 1.03 male(s)/female
65 years and over: 0.76 male(s)/female
total population: 0.98 male(s)/female (2009 est.)

Hence the need for Save the Girl Child Campaign in India.

People are doing it but it doesn't mean every other person is doing it..

@RiazHaq, I have quoted Pakistani govt sources.. so stop posting useless information again and again and do save the girl campaign in Pakistan.
