Cant see the vid...but i saw the tickers running on channels..tht he rejected Army operation in karachi.. I think its a very good decision by him..bcoz as we all know...tht those doing target killing in karachi are from militant wings of all "political parties".. So, if Army does operation, it will have to act those militant wings of political parties to do the clean up..and when workers of political parties will be targetted...then they will start doing propaganda..tht innocent ppl in karachi are being targetted by army..and then we know our media..who always like to bash army at every opportunity....we know how wud they love to follow the propaganda of political parties then and exploit the situation on media..esp the likes of Asma jehangir, Najam Sethi, Hamid Mir and many others.. So its best tht Army stays out of this mess...

All three Parties in Karachi govt or else have WaffenSS like terrorist units, which go around killing people at will. Why would army take responsibility for such a blunder !

Sir jawan of our police force may be illiterate but they are not that incapable, only requirement is that police force should be run by police officers. Am sure they can produce much better results even with the available resources. Yes they need better quality manpower who can work on scientific lines.

Kiyani wants others to take responsibility for whatever goes wrong. Yet the civil gov't doesn't have the power to remove from command even one general who proves incompetent or criminal; Kiyani and his corps commanders resist changing the Army's status from supremo to subordinate institution.

Am sure they can produce much better results even with the available resources. Yes they need better quality manpower who can work on scientific lines.

I would rather send these jawans-officers prematurely homes with early retirements-pensions and call upon educated sensible men-women recruited on merit. There are thousands of boys-girls 20-25 without Job I would fairly want to see them being employed. Remember we need quality feeling pity won't solve problems. Ofcouse there are many who are on merit but there are many who are not. Police Force should never be poorly equipped.

The people of Sind must realize their folly in providing the ballot to those who have nothing but bullets for them.

The people of Karachi, who claim to be educated with middle class values have the utmost responsibility to elect people from those parties who dont have militant wings.

Sure if someone lying like this should be sent home but who was responsible for not creating rest area for them. Who was responsible for ensuring they had reasonable duty time. When more than half of police is performing VIP duties, many of SHOs are blue eyed of politicians, when many police officers from ranks get out of turn promotions due to special services to politicians or influential people. You will continue witnessing such scenes. I am sure if the same jawans are put under command of professional police officers the same lot will have different outlook. Let police have system of promotion and postings without external pressure, you wiLl see a different police.
