South Korea to speed up development of new missiles
South Korea's new government is to hasten the development and deployment of missiles capable of striking targets anywhere in North Korea.

Seoul reached an agreement with the United States in October last year that enables it to develop ballistic missiles with a range of 800km (497 miles), reducing its reliance on the US military.

Under the previous with Washington, South Korea was limited to domestically developed weapons systems with a range of 300km (187 miles), but Pyongyang's continued belligerence - including last month's launch of a missile and worrying suggestions that the regime might be planning to conduct another nuclear test - have forced Seoul to move the schedule forward.
No specific date has been given for the deployment, with a government official telling Yonhap News that the weapons would be sited as early as possible.

With a range of 800 km +- 50 km, this missile can strike Beijing.

They only needed 550 km range for North Korea, but went extra length to cover Beijing.

man u east asian ppl are sick. u all have the shared Confucian culture. u might have religious difference but that doesn't matter as most of u are agnostic. u have no history of invasion by other unlike we in india does.i would love to see all the east asian ppl as citizen of a consortium of countries like that of EU. u also look like one race to me unlike south asia with very slight difference. and i love chinese , japanese, korean culture. i would like to see north korea being governed as china is now. what they call communism in NK is sick.
I once saw a documentary about North korea. i was sick to see how the ppl of that country revere the leader. there was no medicine, no electricity. even there are no available treatment to cataract in NK which as a doctor i can testify as a damn easy surgery . I am sick of NK leader. China should help NK ppl. and atleast make some hospital and power station in North Korea to help those ppl. China should develop NK as USA has done with SK.

If South Korea has not yet declared war to Japan, it is thanks to the US which want these two countries to be united against China and thereby to contain China. South Korea is forced by the US to ally with Japan under the US umbrella.

South Korea would never target China as both share more things in common compared to the Japanese Imperial War Criminals. Both South Korea and China had suffered of the Japanese invasion and atrocities, both intrinsically linked economically and both are in the same continent. If South Korea and China are not true allies, this is due to the US War Criminals who is doing their best to portray China as an enemy of South Korea while the true enemy of South Korea is Japan.

Korea has a dispute with China over eastern Manchuria, which was a Korean province called Kando, that Japan handed over to China in 1909. Japanese temporarily ceded Kando with the intention of taking it back when the Manchurian railway was completed. This territorial dispute is actually bigger than all of China's other territorial disputes combined as Kando is roughly half the size of Peninsular.
