To augument your argument further, here is a picture of a HMD that is installed on the JF17 proto type - 06.

Only a fool argues with a fool Aeronaut. I think we should have stopped taking him seriously when he claimed that MIG29's HMD is superior to that of JHMCS. I tried to reason with this dude on another thread and even educate him on some matters, but when i realized his head was struck up with his Indian goggles, i realized that it was not worth arguing with this kid.

I think its about time he gets thrown out.

I like to share a funny fact. I went to Google.com and wrote "JF-17 testing HMD". On the very first page of Search tab, i found several links in which it was written Pakistan testing South African HMD for it's JF-17 plus a chinese HMD

Than i clicked Images tab and very first two images poped up showing screen shot of PAF documentary in which they are testing South African HMD

When a lame person like me can find source so much easily on Google, than why someone else can't? If someone still persist like a ignorant parrot to give him source than what we call him then? An irritating, miserable stupid INDIAN ignorant troll?

Btw hOBS for JF17 is useless since it does not come with an HMD. Pretty lame for a fourth gen fighter I'd say. Even our Mig 29s come with Schlem(supposedly better than F16s HMD)
What local defence industry? All parts are made in China, you guys just assemble it.

First, not 'we' guys. The Pakistanis assembled it. In fact, they are building about 60% of the plane internally now. Next year, the avionics will be entirely written and modified in Pakistan. Thats why they used COTS components and technologies. Pakistan, just like India, has a lot of IT talent. It is of course a smaller pool due to the size of India. But for Pakistan itself, the technical focus isn't too bad.
Next, the JFT's BIII is supposed to have HMD. Once something is tested and approved, it can easily be integrated with JFT B1 and BII, Integrating HMD doesn't require refitting or additional components. It is essentially an accessory to the HUD (there are multiple ways to integrate it). The easiest one is to use HUD dual connector and hardware and the software within the HMD does the rest. It's not exactly this simple but it's not hard to integrate. Last point, it doesn't matter what you or I think. The JFT gives the Pakistanis very good defensive capability with no string attached. Plus, it setup the internal defense JET manufacturing industry. Which is bound to return fruit soon. That's a leaps and bounds from where the PAF was in 2010.

You are correct. H=0 means sea level and M means mach.
